LP7SLIP its kinda easy to get a job in a sportsbook specially if you live in sportsbook heaven Costa Rica
1-You need to know about sports (know all the teams and such).
2-Have a little knowledge about puters
3-Love for the buiss
4-Be willing to work for 5 dollars a hour
5-Got to be a party animal (all clerks in the books are known to be wild party animals)

If you fill theese requierements you will have no problem finding a job in any book here in c.r

Is the living conditions cheap there? Cause 5 bucks an hour wont get my crap in the states, fi you know what i mean

Yeah thats the thing about down here i like so much, In the States 5 buck an hour really blows cant live off of that anywhere but down here i make 4 or 5 times what a normal person in a factory or a store or kid at mcdonalds makes ,,5 bucks an hour here as a clerk is pretty good to live of on(dont get me wrong there is a lot more jobs in a book that pay more than that thats just a salary for a clerk)

LP7SLIP, What Droop says is totally right, but for an average of $5/hr. you can make a decent living in CR and living in CR is great. The beaches are beatiful, the city is peaceful and the environment between the sportsbook clerks is great and the accesibility to fun things like booze and drugs is very easy. One thing you have to consider before you pack your bags is that it is VERY HARD for foreigners to get hired by a book because they are afraid enough of Immigration as it is. If you have a work permit from the CR Gov't it is quite easier though.
