On your colorful site I noticed a bosumy advertisement for ABETZ. Would your recommend me sending 10k post up there. Could you assure me my monies would be safe? Or are you in it to scoff up the ad revenue and caveat emptor?

As to your questions:

Not at this time until the situation gets totally cleared up.

No, not at Abetz or any other book.
I can't do that and neither can anyone else. I don't care what any watchdog site says, or mediators say they will do. They cannot force anyone to pay you or anyone else. I am not talking about just Abetz here, I am talking about all books in general. Sure they can e-mail, make phone calls, put on bad lists yadda yadda.
The bottom line is a very minor % of gamblers that wager with online books even know about posting forums such as this, mine or anyone elses.
As for ad revenue and caveat emptor....
The ads are still there for a few reasons. I am not going to trash this book because they had/have some slow pays. They sponsored numerous contests at my forum and everyone that won got their money in an account and either lost it or bet with it and cashed out. I have not heard one complaint from any of the winners. I will say that one of the posters at my forum Rebunkshus posted he had issue over cashing out $300 via WU.
I helped him get his money and he got paid. I don't claim to be the voice of the bettors or a watchdog site. I do what I can to help the player anyway I can.
Do I like the slow pay situation hell no.
Noone does, but knowing the situation they are going through and that they are trying to work it out without running off says a few things to me.
There are lots of books out there, some super great, some good, some down the middle, some bad, etc etc etc....
Example 5 dimes had issues with losing records of account balances, hard drive crashes whatever it was.
Johnnie Demarco tried to bury the book, they have overcome that and are stronger today.
I see the same with Abetz.....
It will take time, trust, and a commitment to overcome and smooth out everything for Abetz, but isn't that with any young upstart business.

Thanks for the honest and sincere answers. However, your honesty kind of defeats your credibility.
By running ads for this outfit the integrity of your site and name have plummeted. You stated that you wouldn't recommend me sending ten dimes for a post up. How about that poor unsuspecting soul that trusts the Freak site and wires 10-20 dimes to this place. What do you do Freak, pray he loses and is none the wiser? You like the shop? Fine. Do the right thing for the public, not Freak, pull the ads until they stabilize.Comment

no credibility for people who won't call a spade a spade, slow pay is not acceptable in this industry, i will never personally endorse a book who fails to deliver on a payment date, and multiple times at that, whatever freak says, you busted him on this one...
freak, no offense but your tout for abetz is for obvious reasons, and the public knows that now
as to your statement about the use and effectiveness of posting forums like this; site like this will work if they will call a spade a spade, and not cover up a bad apple whether friends they are; the way u stand up for abetz u almost sound like that guy s ting,

I was asked straight forward questions, I gave straight forward answers.
My point is simply this, if people can't continue to have faith in something because it fails, do we discard it and lose the opportunity forever?

Koufax21 let me say this to you, when I had my vision of starting my own forum, David was the first to sponsor contests for me.
Noone else would give me the time of day or any help period.
He made it possible for me to succeed and without that faith and trust he had in me as a nobody in this business I am where I am today.
I may still be a nobody in this business and not trying to be anyone but myself. I work 40 hours a week to support my family and spend numerous hours on my forum and my website. I don't have the resources to run a site such as this or any other large forum.
I run my forum with no help, and it makes me happy that I can provide an outlet for fellow bettors to talk, to gain insight and to help one another.
If I am so lucky to make a few bucks along the way, I guess it will help my children go thru college when they grow up, and hopefully they will become someone far greater than this nobody right here.

To Freak: I think you have done a wonderful job with your forum. I am a visitor to several different websites(large and small) and appreciate any insight I can get in order to get by in the daily grind of sportsbetting. I guess some people can't understand the tremendous amount of time and effort that is needed to keep a forum going. No one is perfect, but you've done a great job. Thanks.

Freak, I could sense a lot of emotion in your post. You are in a quandary. You have to decide between alerting your readers to a potentially dangerous situation, and supporting the man who had your back when you were a fledgling upstart and hope his ship doesn't sink. This is a moral dilemma, much different than deciding to lay the 2.5 with Nebraska or take the 3 with Oklahoma. Good Luck to you! Whatever decision you make, I hope your kids all get PHD's from prestigious universities.
