  • Question about Neteller

What would be the benefit for me, the sports player, of using Neteller? If I send money through Western Union, they don't pick up the fees like the sportsbooks do. If I send money with a credit card, when I request a withdrawral the money must go back on the card so I have to wait 10 to 14 days to have it back on my card. Plus if I request a check, there is a $20 fee which I don't have to pay when I get a payout each month from a sportsbook. Maybe I am missing something here, but if I am, can someone please tell me what I am overlooking about Neteller? Thanks.

jacmar, this is a good question. NETeller is not always the best solution for all deposits and withdrawals. Here are the cases and reasons of which I'm aware:

    (1) Transfers between books that don't otherwise process transfers. This is a big help if you play at more than one store.

    (2) Collect a withdrawal that you expect to send somewhere else later. Just hold it temporarily in your NETeller account, then it is ready instantly when you are.

    (3) Make a payment or withdrawal using a method that is not available with your particular book.

    (4) If you use a credit card to deposit, you can move money from one sportsbook to another without the normal credit card refund waiting time.

There may be others reasons that other posters can add.

As per NETeller: The benefit to the player is the ease and convenience with which they can
pull money back into their account and then back into a sportsbook/casino.
As well, the various payment options we offer (PayPal, MoneyZap, etc) are
not available to offshore companies and this adds to the convenience for the
      player.

You might want to check out one of the new ways to deposit/withdraw money with NETeller called Ecount. It works like a bank account and they have a debit card available that is affiliated with MasterCard so you can shop in any store (on and off line) and withdraw/deposit from any ATM that takes MasterCard.

      Hopes this helps.
