    Cons

I only brought up the thread because people were wondering what happened exactly. If you read the thread It has NOTHING to do with anything bad against Olympic. It was a bug in microsoft that some scum took advantage of that has since been fixed. Olympic was just the place that got hit. Like I said in the thread that I brought back to the top, Spiro at Olympic is a class act bar none and I have only praised Olympic since being with them for over 2 years and still going. For you to say I have a hidden agenda is just wacked! You might try reading the thread I brought back to the top first before you smack off with YOUR hidden agenda's! When Spiro wrote that thread he wanted everyone to know exactly what happened and if you see exactly what happened, It is not Olympic at all but the scum who had winnnersbook.com opened during the time of the crime.

To answer your other question, if you would READ the thread I brought to the top, you would see Spiro said that Netpro has allready credited all c.c's that were charged and not the bank who has your c.c.
When I called my c.c. when I saw the charge they allready had on their computer screen a credit from Netpro.

Ok, so there's no hidden agenda Please accept my sincerest apologies.

I wanted to raise the issue about NetPro and not bring Olympic into this again. It's NetPro that's the real problem now, though obviously like you say it's the scum that stole the numbers that's ultimately to blame.

They have already recredited my CC, though not the full amount. In their currency it might have been to the penny, but since my CC is in US dollars and not UK Pounds there's a differential in the final sum.

When $1105 disappears one day, and only $1051 appears four days later, then as a matter of principle I don't feel like I should be short here. I don't give a rat's ass about $54 bucks, but not if it's like this.

        Apology accepted.

Netpro shorted me as well but mine was just .10 cents and the C.C. fixed it for me. If I were you I would first call Netpro and explain to them everything. I'm sure they would credit the rest back to you. If they give you any problems which I cannot see how they would since they know all about this situation and will see the charge on your card(you might have to fax them a copy of your charge only)..I would then go to your C.C. Make that a last resort though because it will take more time. Call Netpro and let us know what happens.

Well, no response yet so if a further 48 hrs brings nothing new, I guess I will have the bank deal with it...

            Cons,

Make sure you ask your c.c. to close that account and transfer everything to a new account # because someone has gotten ahold of your card #.
To be safe, I changed my other cards that I used with the book since they could have those #'s as well.
Let us know what pans out with Netpro. They should fix it but if not, the c.c. will since you didn't make this charge.

Hmm, just noticed I have one as well - I hadn't looked at my account for a week, but one is there and about a week old and has not been recredited in all that time, so perhaps they are still out there and trying?

Anyone got acquaintances they like collecting kneecaps with friends that have had the same thing happen?

anyway, how long did it take for other people to get NetPro credits, given this looks like it is a week old?

Also, did email work, or did you have to call them if they didn't do it?

Mine was actually credited right away. As soon as I saw the charge I called the credit card and they said that Netpro already credited the account(although they were alittle short on the credit because of the London to U.S. thing I would assume but the C.C. credited the rest since it was just cents)

Make sure you tell your card companys that you used with the book that someone got your number so they block the card and issue you a new number.

Well, NetPro are behaving like the thieves that took the money in the first place. Wouldn't be surprised if they were connected. It was NetPro that set up the thieves to go on a rampage like this one, and it's NetPro that is refusing to answer any emails.

yeah, I must say it is pretty slack - do it for some, but not others? Also, not answering after you have been involved in something like this is not very good.

Guess they have to be called and waste more time/money now.

Well, I did just get email back from NetPro saying 'Whatever sportsbook you used we are their credit card processor and we
process in British Sterling. I hope this clears up anr confusion.'

Someone appears to not know what is going on, or as Cons says, getting suspicious?

Think the one on mine is a fair bit after the first ones reported here. So, if that account was terminated as said, how was my card debited? If not by the first bunch of scammers have they set up another one?

Sent them another one with copies of these handy Bworld threads

Got a reply back saying they have credited it, so will see if/how long that takes to go through.

The other thing being of course the usefulness of Bettorsworld - wouldn't have had any idea what was going on, apart from it being a dodgy charge, without here and the posts about it.

                            Thanks people.

I wrote again asking for the email address of the CEO that posted a reply earlier in this thread. He got back to me so it'll be interesting to see how things develop.

If anyone needs the contact details for NetPro then go to www.netproltd.com

Ok, that has now been recredited.

Funny how your bank's online networks aren't instantaneous to your advantage, isn't it?
