I'm going to Freeport, Bahamas this Friday. I know that they have casinos. Do they offer sports betting? If they do does anyone know what type of limits and which places to go?

I used to live in South Florida and went over on the 15 minute plane ride on occasion. I haven't been there in probably three years but I can give you some info on what it was like then. Freeport is certainly not a tropical paradise...I found it to be the most boring and uninteresting island in the Bahamas. As far as the casinos, there was two at that time--Princess Casino and Port Lucaya Casino--Princess being the nicer of the two. Princess had a nice sportsbook ran by Mark Dufty who is now running Aces Gold. As far as limits, I can remember getting a dime down no problem. And the sportsbook was very comparable to any you would find in Las Vegas. Dealers at the sportsbook were courteous but the ones at the tables left a lot to be desired in my opinion.
Like I said, that was three years ago. Have a good time and would like to hear a report on your trip when you return.
