On Tuesday at 5:00 PM our telecommunications provider went under. This affected not only us, but also another 15 sites in Costa Rica. Our phone lines and our website was knocked off line. A change was made to another provider, but it took until 6:45 PM tonight for us to get our internal Internet service restored.
We believed everything was under control, but at 7:30 PM, we realized the website was not up and the phones were still dead. The problem lies with our IP (Internet) address. Since our provider is gone, so are its IP addresses. If the Betanything.com address cannot be moved to our new provider, then a new address will be needed. This process may take up to two days.
Our local phone lines are open at 011-506-281-1120 or 011-506-281-1094. If our toll free phone service is not restored by midday tomorrow, we will have an alternate 800 number to use for phone-in wagers. We are open and ready for business.
We sincerely apologize to all of our customers for the inconvenience. We are embarrassed that it happened, but we will work through this and continue to serve our customers in the highest standard possible.
