  • Why no net withdrawals using NETeller?

    In separate posts players stated that they were told by GOTO and WWTS that they could not withdraw by NETeller beyond the amount deposited by NETeller. I'd like to know

    (1) Why this policy exists

    (2) How many other sportsbooks are implementing NETeller this way (that we don't know about yet)

    I just don't understand why the book would care how the player gets HIS money.

    SportsHobby, I'd like to know as well. However, I doubt that the books will come in here and answer though. Maybe max the Knife knows, he seems to be in the know about Neteller. I plan on contacting each of my current outs and check on their policy.

    As previously stated, 5 Dimes, Top of the World, and Dunes allow you to withdraw more than you've deposited. As pre avove, Goto and WWts do not.

    I plan on getting answers from Wsex, Carib, Sportbet, and Casablanca. I will report results in this thread for those 3.

      It's probably because this exposes the book a lot faster... I read somewhere that a book spends between 100 and 300 bucks for each new customer in advertising, bonuses, etc...

      This way, you can collect on all the bonuses, hit them and then run. By you keeping your money in the account longer, they have a chance to recoup their loses.

      I don't agree with the way things are done but there's some logic to the madnesss...

        wow, am I impressed with wsex. They have a wonderful online chat w/customer service feature. It works great. It eliminates bad phone conecctions and troublesome accents.

        Results so far so good;

        Wsex - No restrictions
        Sportbet - No restrictions
        Casablanca - No restrictions
        Carib - waiting for online message

        -------------------------------------
        Carib's response;

        you have to deposit with neteller to be able to withdraw. The max you can cashout is 5000. Thanks, Carolyn

          Actually, GOTO told me that because I had never sent them money via netteller, they would never pay me via neteller. I was told they would pay out more than your netteller deposit, although how much more was fuzzy math. Five dimes more? "Sure". Twenty? "Maybe."

          after being forced to keep my money in goto an extra week, half was returned to the house; the other half is being sent fedex, if they don't screw up, and now I shall never return to goto for their shoddy treatment of a long-time player...
