posting forums censorship

Socceroo starts a thread complaining about being booted from another betting forum. i dont know socceroo or the other forum but it seems reasonable. Jeff from BW appropriately edits out any personal names from the post. So far, so good! but Jeff can leave well enough alone, he has to make unfounded judgements about socceroo's intentions and then close the thread to any other posters! say it aint so...REALITY, where are you when we need you? dont we live in a country where the people rule? that is, the people, not the Supreme Court of the land, pick who their president will be!?
Free Socceroo!!! give him, a forum in which to speak, (enough rope), and let him defend himself (and he will hang himself if he is an *******)! guidoS

Please send me your name, address, and specificaly, what you do for a living.

I'd like to make blanket statements, (negative ones), elsewhere on the net, where your family, friends and peers, and most importantly, your livlihood, can see them.

When asked to privately verify this information, I will simply ignore you. Afterall, it's my right. This is america. Freedom of speech.

While your at it, if you don't mind, please also allow me to send you a bill everytime we get dragged into a courtroom to defend ourselves for allowing free speech.

Let's please keep the forums to sportsbooks and sportsbetting and not how we run the forums. We've been doing it the same way for 5 years. We appreciate yhe help, but I think we have it figured out.

Oh, let me also add, while we're at it, that my judgemants are not unfounded. Comments were made. An offer was exteneded to prove them, and that has yet to happen.

If we really want to make things interesting, why not allow me/Bettorsworld, to publish all the information we have on Socceroo. Then we'll have a better idea of just where he's coming from.

Of course then, instead of freedom of speech, I guess the outrage will be the right to privacy....

Jeff - At last we are getting somewhere, you make a very generous offer and I accept. I will allow you to post EVERYTHING that you know or think that you know about me as long as you offer me the same freedom without deleting my posts or closing my threads out which has been the case thus far.

I will not cry foul about my right to privacy, if I wanted to be private why would I post on a global medium and nobody else can cry foul on my behalf because it has got nothing to with anybody else apart from me and you. So go ahead you have my blessing, I have got nothing to hide. I believe in the truth and I want to be involved in an industry that is based on truth and freedom of expression.

You have accused me of being a 'bag of wind with an axe to grind' to me that is an insult. I am quite sure that if I were to insult you in that manner the posts would not last long or my password would be pulled.

So lets be grown up about this and use this forum for what it is supposed to be for, to educate the people that are involved in the industry. Make your post, there will be no outrage from me, the truth will be there and the readers of this forum can judge it for themselves or are you merely being what I have been accused of 'a bag of wind'?

as a matter of fact, u have my name and address and occupation from my registration information.

You threaten to do something to me that i have not done nor has socceroo done. if u look at socceroo's original post in the "faster boot than REALITY" post, the only name mentioned was BOWMAN's sportsbook. if there were other names, you appropriately edited them from the post.

But then you couldnt leave well enough alone, you had to impugn socceroo's intentions, which you obviously have no way of knowing, and worse, you closed the thread so he could not defend himself!

This is the real reason for my thread, but i think you missed the point!

You claim that you know how to run the forums but i contend that you do not! You say the forums are to discuss sportsbooks and sportsbetting, but that is exactly what socceroo was doing when you called him a bag of wind and then closed his thread!

This forum is worthless if the members feel that nothing negative can be said about any of your advertising sportsbooks!

Socceroo, i know you feel that you dont need any defending, and i dont feel like i am defending you personally. i dont know you from adam and i may not even like you, but i defend your right to free speech and to defend yourself!

When jeff arbitrarily accuses you or anyone else and then closes your thread, i must speak up. guidoS

Mr Socceroo can contact me at anytime, and we can then go about proving his allegations. We will do this off the site, and if the allegations are proven, bettorsworld will take the appropriate action. Until then, he is a bag of wind........Mr Guido, I have conversed with Mr Soccerro off the site(email). I did so two weeks ago. The offer still stands to him. It's all very simple. Deliver what I asked you to deliver. I will keep my end of the bargain. Until then, this issue is dead.
