I'm glad you concur then, Rich. Even if he had lost, who is he? A governor of a large state, multi-millionaire.....albeit from a wealthy family. Money, power, reasonably good natured, reasonably good looking wife, reasonably good looking daughters. Actually they're beauty queens compared to Chelsea. What more do you want?
Oh yeah, how horrible it must be, to be him. I mean PLEASE!

Chestrockwells:Concur on Chelsea. One of few children I've witnessed that could haunt an eight room house.
Have never been able to understand how people begrudge successful families passing wealth through generations, yet never guestion where the money came from to buy million dollars of property when a certain person was reported to never net over $50,000 in any year previous to presidency.

        Reguarding Rich's quote,
ALSO I'M NOT A ******* PRESIDENT-SELECT WHO ONLY WON BECAUSE OF A SUPREME COURT FIX.

Here are a few facts you may have overlooked.
This link goes to a story about the 10,000 undervotes in Miami Dade which the Gore campaign claimed were never counted. It shows Bush's lead would have grown by 6 votes. http://www.cnn.com/2001/ALLPOLITICS/...ami.dade.vote/

Here is a link to a story about a truly corrupt State Supreme Court, which made up fantasy votes and ordered them to be counted for Gore. http://www.herald.com/thispage.htm?c...ion/103285.htm

Although the article doesn't mention it the Corrupt Fla Supreme Court also pulled the same fantasy vote stunt in Miami Dade.

Here is a link about how hundreds of felons illegally voted for Gore in Florida http://www.herald.com/thispage.htm?c...ion/106593.htm

In conclusion Rich you were right about the fix being in, I think you just figured the wrong guy was behind it.

Dogs That Bark, I'm writing down your Chelsea quote and will use it in the future.......possibly without giving you credit. It's good stuff!

Tonk, I don't know how you can keep up. Quasi-political junkie as I may be, this previous post-election BS wore me down. The whole issue of irregularities can be argued endlessly though. I spoke at least 10 times with Oregon and New Mexico Republican officials during their prolonged counts, and heard stories up the yazoo. Obviously these were biased or partisan stories, but I'm sure there were many issues on both sides. I was just trying to fan the fires for a recount, especially in New Mexico, for purely selfish reasons.....i.e. a prop I had at VC for total amount of states Bush would carry. Anyway, welcome aboard.
