Next week is the biggest week for PROPS. I have been checking the odds with over 20 shops around and it just makes my head shakes. I'd been seeing lines like, who will make the first field goal -120, heads/tail -130, who is going to be these ? -135, who is going to be that ? -140, etc., etc. Come on! Are these PROPS BETS really profittable or it is just good for the fun of it?
Years back, during old bookmaking when you call your guy and ask for a line, if he tells you Giants -3 (-120) you will definitely say "WTF" are you talking about. We are all aware about the overhead, expenses of operating a shop nowadays but on the other token, the volume of customers that they're getting today is much more than before. Bookmaking nowadays became GLOBAL.
Here is my simple question and please be honest. Had anyone ever made money out of these props bets? Obviously, it didn't work for me.
