Anybody know why both these sites (which I believe are run by the same organisiation?) are no longer functioning?

Footballone had a great power rated I used last year...

AV2, So footballone may be working some time in the future? Damn good power rater you had going their and I particulary liked all the info on the southern hemisphere sports, info one has trouble getting anyplace else. With S12, NRL and AFL starting up again was kind of hoping it would be running for these time for some serious football!

Anyway whatever happens keep us informed.

The problem. Predictit was a top heavy organization, like other dotcom Internet companies that hedged their future on the offshore sportsbetting industry. They learned too late that bloated organizations with huge overheads won't cut it in this industry. I don't know about OddsWorld.com if they are headed to the same direction. These type of companies seem to take pride with their quick cash burn rate, not hard to do since they are siposing of Other People's Money...

Aus start up your own pay per use sight. I think you'd be shocked how many people would pay for your power rating systems and databases. If something is valuable to people they will pay for it. I'm also sure Bettorsworld would help in promoting it in any way they can.
