Las Vegas Outlaws......lines in Nevada?

They put out numbers on them in the XFL at the Stardust and Hilton. Is it just college teams that they are not allowed to post numbers on in Nevada?

Have you seen opening numbers for the xfl?

I was under the impression that they recently changed the rule about wagering on teams in Nevada. Could be wrong though.

Interesting story about the XFL on ESPN's "outside the lines" show tonight......they interviewed Joe Lupo at the Dust and Ken White.

They said the XFL hired someone to ensure there would be wagering on their games, and to assure Vegas books it would be on the up and up.....

They are up at Stardust, Hilton, Olympic, and Goto on the Donbest services. I don't think they changed the rule yet since they still don't post numbers on UNLV or Nevada-Reno.

To show Washington that NV isn't hypocritical in reference to NCAA wagering, effective 2/7/01 wagering WILL be legal on NV schools in the state of Nevada. The Board passed that yesterday 5-0.

Actually on this radio show in Toronto each week they talk to Joe Lupo (sp?) who is the sportsbook manager at the Stardust. They asked him last week about the rule of not putting up odds on Las Vegas teams and he stated that Pro teams aren't under the same rules in Nevada as college. He mentioned that they don't post any Nevada lines when they are asked by the league in question not to, but the XFL apparently approached the books and asked them to put up the lines for all games.

I use to play IHL LV Thunder,sometimes they would slip in a girl goalie and books wouldnt know,also Arena and Cfl Vegas teams were on board and were easy.XFL should be real easy,maybe not NFl easy,but real easy.
