i would think they would all have to. my local guy is 20 cents and i am figuring this place has some mighty fine books. i saw an ad in the DON BEST schedule and here i am.
last year, a big meeting was called in Costa Rica prior to baseball season. The meeting was to discuss makaing the move across the industry from a dime line to the 20 cent line. The baseball season before that saw books get hammered by the syndicates.
The meeting wasn't as successful as the books organizing it had hoped. Half the shops went to 20 cents, and the other half remained at a dime.
Last years baseball season wasn't a great one for the groups/syndicates.......the books that held to the dime line didn't get hurt like many thought would happen.
There will be plenty of books offering dimelines this year. There is a thread from a week ago listing a couple of them. As the season approaches, you'll see more announcements from the books.
