They seem to be moving forward nowadays, instead of reeling. They're offering more betting options, such as overnights and NBA scoring matchups. I also tested their Neteller withdrawals with a small request, and that seems to be working, instead of returning the usual message to contact their customer service department. I just have to wait and see if the request is processed on their side without delay, but at least Neteller is not denying it anymore.

If I can rebuild a trust with them, I'd give them another shot with a moderate deposit, for starters. I really do like their online software (although I do wanna make one criticism: on the bet confirmation page, don't have a field for the bet amount. The player has already set the amount on the offer page, so it's just redundant to keep it open for the confirmation page. That way, people who have programs which allow one to fill in fields automatically can do this with their password, instead of having to type it in everytime (see Grandcentral). It would be nicer to see a "change bet" option instead of an open field for the bet amount.)

Anyone else have an opinion on their operations as of late?

I also wouldn't mind hearing from a Dunes rep on any recent changes (i.e. administrative, future offerings, shifts in ownership, etc...).

Well.......If they manage to rebound, and follow thru with what they have said they would do, they'll get a pat on the back for the comeback, no question.

I will keep you up to date with their current payments to players that are owed.

Until those players are paid, it's best to take a step back and watch.

As I said......just as we report no pay, we will also report when they do pay......which is hoefully what we'll be able to report soon enough.....

I was going to post an update to my own "Dunes" post from last week, but saw this one first, so I'll just throw it in here.

The $150 withdrawal request I made a week ago shouldn't be such a big deal, so I'm hoping that perhaps the person who authorizes the check payments is off for the weekend and that I'll finally get a response on Monday.

        Stay tuned and good luck.

ps. I do agree with Gooden's statement about the expanded betting options. I'd enjoy them more and be very encouraged too, if I could only get paid when I win on a few of them.

Thanks again to Jeff, without your help, I'd have absolutely no idea if I was even being acknowledged at all.

I don't anticipate you'll have a problem with the $150. In Dunes defense on your payout, the person handling the payout for you is away from the shop few days.

Dunes took care of me, so there's a few points for them right there.

Again, about the options, they've begun putting up NBA 1st quarter lines, in addition to scoring matchups (if you're into that sorta thing).

If they keep improving in all areas, I'd make a deposit with them by the summer.

If they pay off everyone, then yes, I would consider using them again, in a small way. But I wouldn't think of using them until I hear everyone was paid.

Check out their website, it doesn't sound like they will pay anyone off. GL.

This is what is displayed at the website: http://www.dunessports.com
Dunessports.com has gained phenomenal success in a very short time. This site is and has been owned by Virtual Entertainment. We entered into an agreement for leasing the site with Toro Gringo S. A. and I can't say they defaulted; they just never paid us. Bettheball.com has taken control of Dunessports.com and will run our own Internet Gambling sites. Virtual Entertainment holds a gaming license in Costa Rica and we hold an International Gaming license as well. Bettheball.comwill open for play by the middle of February. We ask that everyone check them out. We believe we have improved upon the software of Dunessports.com. This site will have better software, service, reliability, and honesty. We know there are outstanding accounts with http://betdunessports.com and all old accounts should be settled with http://betdunessports.com. We accept no liability for the outstanding debts of Dunessports.com. We would accept serious inquiries regarding the idea of taking on a working investor for present or future gambling sites

If you go to networksolutions.com, you will see that domain name dunessports is owned by an individual who previously was the technical support person for Dunes. Because he would not work with the new owners, or Samantha, and is closely allied with Jason and JR, new investors and Samantha are using betdunes.com and betdunessports.com. New owners have assumed debts of post-up customers and operational expenses etc. Dunessports.com is just trying to trade on the name, and I am sure the industry will take care of these con men.

                          JD:
Original owners of Dunessports essentially bankrupted the company through ignorance, stealth, sloppy gambling, and too much credit. It is my considered opinion that they are now behind the current "dunessports" and "bettheball" sites. Those domain names are registered to THEIR computer guru.

Samantha and new investors purchased old dunes and their sites are "betdunes" and "betdunessports". They are paying all post up customers and book transfers, etc. from the original company.

Original owners were not to compete or have anything to do with new dunes company. These guys are simply trying a new con, to try to get business and customers that belong to what is now betdunes and betdunessports.

If you want your money and want to deal with an honest shop, deal with betdunes.

I really hope that is not the case........we shall see though.

Samantha had a great deal to do with Dunes early success, and will have a great deal to do with any future success.

It's a shame that anyone would use the old name to attempt to grab customers.

                              OK, got it. Thanks Intrepid.

                              That's pretty important info.

Anyway, with "Betdunessports" (Samantha and new crew) making an honest effort to make good and beyond, I truly wish them success.
