  • Jazz/Pelican transer

Saw post below by Jeff but think it demands another headline. Jeff mentions where books credit you with a transfer and then renege down the line. Jeff also implies that this seems to now be status quo for the business whatever the **** business these days. This is unacceptable and outrageous conduct.

Let's flip the page and say you set someone up for an account at JAZZ by transferring $$$ from your account to this new account. Then a week later the new account blows all his cash to JAZZ. When settle time rolls around, this guy can't pay you for the setup. Do you think JAZZ will pay you back the money this schmuck blew? FAT CHANCE.

However, JAZZ will steal your money if they suspect a book might not pay way way way after the fact. THIS IS HEADS I WIN, TAILS YOU LOSE.

**** JAZZ/Pelican and whoever else does "business" this way. oh yeah, from personal sources i hear WSEX does "business" this way too.

P.S. JAZZ i got my $$$ but you are still SCUM

But in your example, wouldn't you be responsible for the account you had set up for the other guy? Kind of like an agent?

I agree that the transfer from book to book is a sticky issue, but I'm not sure I fully understand your point about setting up the account for someone else......

If a sportsbook is going to grant the player credit to his account PENDING the transfer, then it should be clearly noted as such. And whenever the pending transfer is complete, this should also be noted. Otherwise, when the sportsbook puts money in the player's account it should be as good as cash.

Or as mentioned before, wait until the transfer clears. No more honor system!
