Found an obvious error in a line yesterday and sent an email alerting them. I received an email thank you.Not even a token $25 account boost. Never again,I'll overlook the error.

Shadow, even though it's a good gesture on the part of the book I think you're being too harsh on them. Suppose 1000 players found the error and e-mailed them, and the e-mails were opened up six hours later after the error had been corrected? -
just bet the game next time. perhaps if they get beat a few times they will exercise a little more quality control.Comment

HA: You cannot win in this situation,If you bet the error the book will void the wager stating obvious error. Only recourse is to point it out.Comment

Look at it this way. If for nothing else point it out so they don't get hammered on it. This way they will still have some money to pay you when you win

i bet an error on the SB with tenn/rams. called the book to ask them to quote/comfirm the line verbally....hammered it...then collected. so i know it can be done. i wonder how fast a book will call some sap that has the wrong end of a bad line when he is a loser?Comment
