Recently a few friends of mine from Central Europe who bet with various books wanted to sign up with Neteller and carry out their transactions through them. Unfortunately they have had no success with opening up their accounts. It seems that Neteller has a prejudice about being open to the world - they simply don't want to be a global system.
Personally I can't find a single reason why I should trust Neteller. They could be as dodgy as a sportsbook based on Mars. Nobody can vouch for them, nobody knows how safe they are, they have no track record... it doesn't seem like they're open about anything...

My friends had trouble signing up, they had their accounts blocked even before they deposited any funds. They received emails stating that Neteller would not operate in their country, which makes this operation look dodgy to me. Western Union has no problem, they've been offering services in those countries for years...
