  • Bonuses taken away?

How should books deal with customers who aren't wagering the required amount for the bonus but are still asking for a withdrawal.

Example: Must wager 5 times deposit amount, but player only wagers 3 times the amount. Should the customer be notified, customer have the bonus taken away, or should the customer keep it.

    Any opinions?

First of all, before you signed-up everything should be in "black and white" meaning you as a player knows exactly the restrictions you are getting in. If the restrictions is 5x your initial and you are going to post up a dime, it doesn't need a rocket science to figure out that before requesting for a payout, you should at least put 5 dimes into action. However, if in some cases you happened to pull it out before, the whole bonus amount will be forfeited.

There are some books (very rare) that I came across that will PRO RATE your bonus if you come across under these circumstances.

I agree with Underdog7. You don't actually HAVE that bonus money before you have met the requirements. There's just some extra money in your account and it will disappear if you don't follow the agreement. Why should you expect anything else?

I totally agree with both of you, as I just want to get a feel as to what every one else thinks.

Now here is another situation. $1000 deposit $100 bonus. Customer wagers 3* amount and is supposed to wager 5*, and is up to $2100 in account. What should happen if the customer wants just a refund of the original $1000? Should they lose the bonus then?

          Hi ThomasV,

So you can have a better example I will tell about our policies.

If you want to request a withdrawal before wagering 5 (five) times the amount you deposited plus the bonus money, bonuses and fees will be deducted from your account.

Now, if you deposit money and win, you can take out your winnings without affecting your bonus and fees money.

The 5 time rollover counts only when you are trying to withdraw funds and your balance is inferior than your original deposit.

Lets say you deposit $1,000, you receive $150 bonus for a total amount of $1,150, you need to place that amount in action five times for a total of $5,750. If you win and you take your account up to $3,150 you can take out $2,000 without that affecting your bonus money. If you loose and you have a balance of $750 and you want to make a withdrawal without having wagered 5 times the amount, $150 bonus money will be deducted from your account.

I am not familiarized with other sportsbooks payout rules, but those are our policies.

Mega, that is a good explanation.

I think it is fairly common to be able to withdraw any winnings, beyond the initial deposit and bonus amounts, prior to satisfying the bonus criteria. But be sure to read the fine print.

                    Hi,

You can withdraw up to $250 from your promotional account, less the original stake of $35, less the correspondent fee for the payment method of your choice.

Active players may withdraw their winnings only. (if they haven’t placed their deposit plus bonus money combined in action 5 times)

For further information please give us a call at 1-800-411-0641 or 1-888-708-5622 and one of our Marketing Representatives will be glad to assist you.

                    Good Luck!
