  • Go To Casino- Slow Pay or legit delay?

    I called Go To Casino last night for a Fed Ex tracking number on a check that should have been sent Monday. They said there was a delay due to the "Easter holiday", all the banks were closed in Costa Rica and they are backed up from the previous week.

    I processed my request on Monday, the day after Easter so I'm not pleased with their excuse. Are the Easter holidays extended in Costa Rica that banks are closed for several days?

    I know they are listed a book here at ** World and I'm sure my money will arrive next week, but it's an example why books like Olympic and Carib are in a seperate catagory because this crap wouldn't happen there.

    It's nice to have a 10 cent baseball line, it's better to pay your customers in a timely manner.

    i'll say legit delay. it would not surprise me if in Costa Rica they would close the banks down good friday, ( whatever they call it ) saturday AND easter monday.

    i can easily see the backup being legit

      My calendar shows that Easter Monday is a holiday also in some other exotic places like Australia, Germany, Spain, Canada, France, Great Britain, Italy…

        Diamler Crysler corp in America was closed
        Monday so i think that the banks may have

          I have no problem with Easter Monday, or Easter Tuesday and Wednesday either. I would expect that if there was a delay I would have received a better answer than my check will be sent out "sometime next week".

          It's all about communication, a simple "Due to the Easter holidays, all requests for payouts by our Monday 1pm deadline will be processed from April 18 thru April 25." on their website would have been nice.

            Being from outside of USA, it didn't sound reasonable that your complaint was based on the assumption that another country has the same holiday periods, but I agree that having those holidays mentioned on the web site would be nice.

            BTW I'm not familiar with the term "lounge act", but I do have a lounge.

              Called today and they're unable to provide a tracking number, was told to call back on Monday, two weeks since by request for withdrawl was made.

              I made a withdrawl request from Carib this Monday and the check arrived Thursday. It's no longer a legit delay, Go to Casino is slow pay and has lost a customer.

                Have you asked the admins here for any assistance with securing your payout? GOTO is a paid advertiser here and might respond quickly if Jeff, et al, were to intervene on your behalf. Of course, help should not need to be solicited if this were a legitimate delay, but two weeks from a BettorsWorld Cream of Crop book is just too long to wait.

                  I’ve used FedEx only once. Requested a withdrawal from Carib on Tuesday, it was sent and I got the tracking number using their online customer memo on Wednesday, the check traveled via USA and a couple of countries in Europe and I received it on Monday.

                  If I lived in the States, I’d expect to receive a check in few days after my request, unless it’s a holiday

                    I'm sure my check will arrive(some day), my point is when I request a payout from Olympic or Carib it arrives without any incident. I was part of the credit card nightmare Olympic and others had to endure several months back, Olympic basically said "that's are problem not yours here's your money back, since we can't issue a credit card refund let us know if you'd like us to send you a check."

                    Every once in a while, Carib will have the fave and dog reversed. I've sent them a memo letting them know one of there lines is posted incorrectly, they respond with thanks for letting us know here's $25 for helping us out. Just two quick examples of excellent customer service.

                    I've asked Go To Casino for one payout, not only is it late but they seem unsure of exactly when it will be processed. They're friendly and helpful, but also clueless. If they think it's acceptable they're wrong, I won't be playing with them anymore. If there was a legit delay then a manager should have gotten on the phone, explained the situation and offered something that would help them retain a customer. There are too many other books who communicate with their customers and value our business to worry about one who evidently doesn't.
