Betting firm may move to Malta following proposed ban
A Federal Government proposal to ban online gambling could force the Darwin-based betting firm, International All Sports, to relocate to Malta.
In a report to shareholders, the company's executive chair Mark Read says the company has been granted an international wagering licence by the Maltese Government.
Mr Read says this will allow the company ready access to the lucrative European market.
He says it also means International All Sports can continue to operate if the Government's proposed ban comes into force.
