  • Pinnacle In Trouble?

This morning, 5 minutes ago to be exact,I tried to make a net teller withdrawel for $2500.00 from Pinnacle I was informed online that the transaction could not be completed, that I had to contact their customer service.I called them and I was told by Miles that they their float was down from the weekend, and that they didn't have my money. He stated that he sent my money, but it wouldn't be for while till net teller gets it. I thought there was an organization that watched these sportsbooks in Curaco. I hope I get my money, anyoner else have the same problem with them?

ajvbear, this has become all too commonplace - sportsbooks that are willing to accept NETeller deposits but won't keep a balance there for withdrawals. I'm sure you'll get your money, but the inconvenience stinks.

THE TOPIC OF THIS THREAD IS HORRIBLE.

      Topic: Pinnacle In Trouble?

I KNOW NOTHING FIRST HAND ABOUT PINNACLE OTHER THEN THEY INQUIRED ABOUT MY SERVICES TWO YEARS AGO.

FROM ALL ACCOUNTS FROM THE PEOPLE I KNOW IN THIS BUSINESS THEY ARE A FIRST RATE SHOP.

WHEN A FIRST TIME STARTER OR EVEN A REGULAR VISITOR HERE SEES:

      Topic: Pinnacle In Trouble?

WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO THINK?

PEOPLE HAVE TO THINK BEFORE THEY POST.

I'M SORRY BUT I DETEST THIS KIND OF SENSATIONALISTIC POST.

IF I'M WRONG,SOMEONE PLEASE CORRECT ME...

      REALITY

On the other hand, you might consider the player is asking for HIS money.

If a book, even a "first rate shop" has business practices which result in a delay in processing my request, the first place I would come is here to let others know.

They may not be in "trouble" from a financial standpoint (who knows?) but this is trouble from the standpoint of not meeting a player's expectation.

That first rate shop might also consider a post here to shed some light on (hopefully) this rare occurrence.

I appreciate the original post and hope all ends well for you ajvbear.

Any book which can not pay the player on demand, even if it is only because they didn’t momentarily have enough funds in Neteller is "in trouble", at least from a service standpoint.

Maybe the first time ever, I agree with Reality. They should do something about neteller delays however.

I agree that the topic heading is misleading and unfair. However I also have been trying to make a simialr withdrawl from Pinnacle for the last two days without success. Perhaps then the bad puclicity from an unfair topic heading will encourage Pinnacle and other books to keep sufficient float in their Neteller accounts.

I could name several good books where the same thing has happened. Use another method and they'll pay you right away.

Thank you all for your input. Granted I do now feel the heading may have been a little much, as a person who has lost thousands of dollars over the years by sportsbooks that have gone bust, I worry. They all showed signs that had I known, I would have gotten out sooner.Today,is Wedensday 3:40 EST still my money isn't available, i have called Pinnacle and asked them to Fed Ex my money. Theo said it would be here by Friday, but they also said, my money would be available through net teller by Tueday afternoon.

What do you bettors think would be an appropriate float with neteller? 50% of their deposits via neteller, 25%, Or 100%? or what? Can't you call the book's customer service to check on their neteller availability before/during a xfer? This service just seems to be ripe for upsetting someone all the time.

I agree with Shifty. It is always nice if they have the funds in Neteller, however it is hard to know how much to have there and I ca't blame them for keeping as little there as they can. Neteller should be the first choice for transfers, but should not be considered a God given right.

I don't think there's an easy solution. What about a player that deposited through neteller...cashed out original deposit...and then is cashing out winnings through Neteller. Even if a book kept 100% of deposits from neteller with them, it wouldn't cover if people are cashing out winnings above the deposit amount. Use a first class book and request another form of payout if Neteller funds won't be available immediately. I've never heard anybody say the books in question won't pay, they just say they can't pay through Neteller immediately. I personally like the neteller service as a go between but FedEx, Western Union, Bank Wire? As soon as somebody doesn't get those in a reasonable amount of time, then I'll worry about the book. We all know about the neteller situation. AJVBEAR...in all fairness, either way, why don't you post here if your Fedex arrives.
