Intertops: Do not send W.U. on weekends!

Today, I saw a wager i liked alot, so i called I-tops to find out who i needed to send the funds to. They supplied the info.
Upon returning from the local W.U., i called
to give them the control #. I-tops then informed me that they would not be able to fund my account until Mon. due to the fact that their local W.U. had closed.
The play went off later the same day. Of course, you know the result, a winner. My problem is that i was not informed of this policy,(it is not on the site),when i asked for a receiver's name.
Also, how do other books in St. John's receive funds on weekends if this is the case?
Seems like pretty shitty customer service to me. What are your thoughts?

I have never ever critiziced a bworld book
on here until now
. In my opinion disregarding
the unspeakable offense of non-payment which
I have always thought is the only real issue
and thus do not nitpick, Intertops is the
worst, most unprofessional and dishonest
sportsbook I have ever seen.

I was going to start a topic on the subject
but never got around to it because I sort
of feel bad bashing a Bworld advertiser
when after all it's this site, Jeff
and the others here that really are the
greatest thing since sliced bread and I'd
include in that every book Ive done business
with the notable exeption of Intertops --

I chose now to respond because to be blunt
"Dreamer" what Intertops said was a blatent
lie all they have to do is call WU press
the control # to know the moneys their
every other sportsbook on the islands does that, if they don't want to do that that's
one thing but don't lie.

They also place ridiculous adds on this
site promoting their props and how wonderful
they are -- their small limits are annoying
but no real problem because they can make them what ever they want even if it is $10
to get publicity but what they also do is
intentionally shade their lines in one direction and if you consistantly bet the other they close your account with a rude
threatening letter, now a bokk could take
bets from who they want, thats true but if they're putting up low limits enticing people to bet one side in order to shut off
the undesirables, I don't think that's book
making, im sorry I've got no problem with
a book cutting someones limits down or even
politely telling syndicate players we don't
want your action but what Itops does in my opinion is only exeeded by nonpayment in
the seviarity of offenses....

It is ofcourse not up to me who Bworld
recommends and it must be said that Itops
never ever stiffed anyone wrongly but I
guess that's what this forum is for and while
I am disgusted by headlines such as "pinnicle's in trouble" when in reality
it's just a minor inconvience on payout
methids I really think Intertops deplorable
way of doing business must be shared with
others.

Just an update:
i just received an e-mail from I-tops. They
informed me that they were sorry for the inconvenience and the W.U. policy had been
changed. Also, they credited my account 1/2
of the intended deposit. Although it is not
total satisfaction, it is better than nothing. This is the first time i have complained about a book on BW. It really works.
I do have to agree with Rich on the
small limits at I-tops.
