  • Firepay

I couldn't help but take notice of the IslandXpress newsletter with the advertisement for a 50% bonus (matchplay, I think, but not clearly explained as such) at Island Casino for deposits through FirePay.

Can someone tell me more about Firepay? It looks like just a third party method of using a credit card. If I win at the sportsbook, how do I get paid back? It looks as though I would have to have a business account to receive payments through Firepay. What about refunds? How fast is it?

Firepay is Surefire Commerce's version of PayPal and Neteller. Surefire is the largest credit card processor for offshore books and casinos.

          Sportshobby and J.Ellis,

Firepay's website is www.firepay.com. 8thpole is correct with his comparison of Firepay to Neteller. The advantage to Firepay is also that they allow the use of Discover and American Express. Check out their site and let me know if I can be of any help--800-511-4844.

I've been to the firepay website, and I understand the FirePAY part. I just haven't found any information about the collecting part. Can you collect? Are the funds put back on your credit card? Are there any fees? Can you collect more than you pay?

Not picking on any of these companies in particular, however it's important to note that you should thoroughly investigate any money transfer businesses you plan to use.

Truth is, many of these are no different than offshore books.

They AREN'T banks. They AREN'T Western Union.

Just like with books, a long track record of trustworthy business is ESSENTIAL!

Any info on sportshobby's original question about getting paid to your FirePay account?
