    Hiptwo,

You surprised and disappointed me. You last post was WEAK at best. Obviously you don't belong in the gambling community either. It's a place where your honor is everything. With that piss poor defense you threw up for an admitted and defiant THIEF, well........maybe you belong in the farming industry.

p.s. You honestly believe he'll pay?? Then loan him the goddamn money!!

Hiptwo, I can see your point and it would make sense if it was a matter of "can't pay". It may in fact be, we don't know. But it's not coming across that way from Udog. It's coming across as an F you, I'm NOT paying! And I think that's what everyone is pissed off about. I would suspect that people would be a lot more understanding if he had said he couldn't because of whatever reason.

Ronbets, I'm not trying to pick a fight here, but I think your "gambling community" was a bit over the top or at the very least an overly ambitious attempt at establishing some sort of moral high ground for "us gamblers". Let's face it, governments owe and sometimes don't pay......businesses owe and sometimes don't pay.......and individuals from every walk of life sometimes owe and just don't pay or declare bankruptcy and don't pay. I'm not saying that any of this is good or admirable, but this is the reality of how things are, as I'm sure you know. Why should a gambling debt incurred under weird conditions be any different? And weird is an understatement!

UDOG7 IS A NO GOOD NON PAYING STIFF. HE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO REACH THE PERSON WHO IS ACCUSING HIM HERE.
HE LAID IN WAIT FOR ANY EXCUSE TO SAY "F-YOU IAM NOT PAYING" AND HE GOT ONE.
HE IS A BEATER PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
IF THERE IS A BLACK BOOK FOR PLAYERS, HE WOULD HEAD THE LIST.

First of all, you can 'spin' anything to ease the damage. However, FACTS:

                  a. Subject is a bonus-scammer

                  b. Subject admits debt.

                  c. Subject declares F/You NO PAY.--Therefore, becomes a brazen thief.

                  d. He breaks 1st commandment of gambling. What differentiates him from a gas station robber? He didn't use a mask or gun.

                  Chest,
You, as a veteran and sharp contributor here know what is right and wrong. Defense lawyers receive $500+ per hour on cases. Don't waste your time 'spinning' or defending this stiff pro bono.

                  hiptwo,
This is a gaming forum to exchange thoughts and ideas.Maybe your logic might suit Pat Robertson and the 700 Club.

The amazing thing about this thread is that the guy who got stiffed hasn't had anything to say for two days and now there are all sorts of battle lines forming.

I think we are entering our annual post Super Bowl pre training camp testy period when we don't have anything to do except respond to threads like these.

                    I smell pigskin!!!

                      Ronbets,
I didn't realize that I was really "defending" anybody. But if I was, pls. let me try again. I can do MUCH better than my last post.
In all seriousness though, the only thing that has always made me uneasy, is the apparent ease that people adopt black or white positions. It certainly simplifies issues, but things aren't always that simple.

This is one of the most black and white issues that any of us will ever encounter. Read the posts. Underdog7 himself admits to a legitimate loan/debt. Then he maliciously decides that he won't repay.

I don't care if someone loans money to see if someone else can buy meat at an all vegetarian grocery store. In any Courtroom this would be immaterial (as it should be here). A loan is a loan is a loan.

In this case both parties agreed to an interest free loan with a definite timetable to repay. Now, the borrower refuses to pay. And, without just cause (as if there could be one anyway).

Now, my positions is this. If (and I emphasize if) Underdog7 does not repay this loan then he is a thief and a cheat. And, as such, we would then owe it to other (new) posters to tell them this. BW administrators have made it clear that they want honest and ethical posters here. Forwarning any posters, especially new ones, about any scammer certainly meets this goal.

I realize Underdog7 has been a longtime poster and some of the older posters want to cut him some slack. I have no problem with this. That is why I want to make it clear that everything I'm typing here is predicated on Underdog7 not repaying the money he clearly borrowed. that is, he would become a thief and a cheat if he doesn't repay.

By the way, I don't understand why Never_Lose and Underdog7 have not made any comments here for the past two-days. I certainly think one or both of them should let us know whether they have resolved (or are in the process of resolving) this issue. This way we can all get back to concerning ourselves with whom we're gonna bet.

                            Hello to all,

I'm sorry if I have not been that active in commenting on all the posts here. Don't worry I'm not the type of guy to leave anything hanging or people without news which I feel deserve some.

I am very honored to see so many posts in this thread, and as far as I'm concerned it is my responsibility to keep all the participants of the thread informed on any changes in the situation. For me that is much like a debt and I owe that to all of you.

A change in the situation means basically receiving some money (complete or partial) in my neteller or paypal account from Underdog7. This has not occurred yet as of 21:42 13-Jun-2001 EST.

So as I said earlier I continue to patiently wait. Once again, thanks to all. NL.
