  • WHAT WILL WE DO?

VEGAS LEGALIZES INTERNET GAMBLING. MGM, STARDUST AND OTHERS ARE OPENING THEIR DOORS.

PEOPLE KNOW THEY WILL GET PAID. EVENTUALLY INTERNET GAMBLING IS LEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES. BETTER TECHNOLOGY, HELP AND PLAYER CONFIDENCE. DO BOOKS MOVE SHOP TO U.S.? DO PLAYERS KEEP ACCOUNTS OFFSHORE?

    WHAT WILL HAPPEN?

AN INQUIRING MIND WANTS TO KNOW.

    THANKS
    TDY

If they made it legal to operate in any of the states, then obviously they would move back.

The larger companies (books) that have been around several years would still thrive.

You'd probably see some mergers as well. Small offshore books with larger ones. Vegas books with large offshore books.

But sportsbetting really isn't at the focus of all this in my opinion. It's the online casino games that most are interested in.

I might consider playing blackjack online if Vegas got involved and it was regulated.

Regarding whether or not books would move back to the states. Wouldn't the taxes here be a lot higher? Also it might depend on how much the states charged them in yearly fee's.
