For this Football Season, Jazz Casino & Sportsbook is happy to announce that in all Regular Teasers (2 through 6 teams at 6,6 ½ and 7 points), TIES now WIN!!! We continue to feature our Big Teasers (3 teams 10 points) and our Super Teasers (4 teams 13 points) both at even money (ties lose). You can combine football and basketball sides and totals in all our teasers. Our rules for buying off or on to 3 in Football are as follows:

You can buy up to 3 points on sides and totals.
- Each ½ point costs an additional 10 cents to the regular juice. The only exception is when buying on or off 3 in football. –
- You can buy points in Straight wagers, 2 through 8 team Parlays, If Bets, Reverses and Round Robins.

Buying On or Off 3 in Football:
-Buying ½ a point on to 3 it will cost you an additional 15 cents to the regular juice.
-Buying ½ a point off 3 will cost you an additional 15 cents in College Football and 20 cents in NFL.

We hang the FB lines on Monday night right after halftime. I know that some books go up earlier but I like to wait until the Monday injury reports are out before we put up the lines. Good luck this season.

Ross, you guys have a great book. The only rant I could possibly have, is the posting of the football lines on Monday nights. Is there any chance you would put them up earlier with reduced limits?

Thanks for the kind words. We would offer a "no vig" day as soon as I figure out how I make money on a balanced game. I still believe in that old theory that bookmakers should balance a game and not have to root for or against the players. As for puting up the lines earlier with reduced limits, I will review our current policies and see if they need to be changed. Thanks for the input. Good Luck.

Any chance of you guys going to Browser based (i.e. WEBTV Compatible) software in the near future?

Mr.Guesser,
We realize that a browser based version would be VERY popular. Unfortunately we use QNX which is a very old operating system (pre Microsoft). It is very secure and stable but not real internet friendly. We have been working with BLR Technology and PGS Software to design an integrated Sportsbook and Casino software that is browser based. This is still a year away. We are looking at creating a CD that can be put into a computer and will take the place of a download. SO basically...NO TIME SOON is the answer. We work hard to make sure our clerks are as competent as possible to make your phone calls a quick easy experience. Good Luck and as soon as I have word on new software I will let everyone know.

Jazz may not put up early football numbers and may not have a browser based book yet, but the fact remains thay are one helluva book that knows how to take a bet......take the bet, move the number, take the bet, move the number........like science.
