  • Barry B******* is a Stiff Artist

I just found out that Barry B******** a New Orleans guy who stiffed me for 30 dimes in 1989, now plays offshore. No book should let this sleazebag play on credit.

There ought to be a special place, somewhere, for all stiffs who intend not to pay! It's the lowest of all life forms!

The offshore industry has a database for scam players (credit card fraud, etc.) Maybe reno could get this guy's name addded to the blacklist.

          Reno,

This is by far the worst post you've ever made in you life. First of all, how can you bring up a 12 year old debt? Revealing in a public forum the man's real name. Dishonoring him when he has no means to defend himself. POOR TASTE.

Anyone, please don't even try to compare this to the Underdog7 case.--NOT CLOSE

How can you dishonor someone when they have no honor? The case in point is that he still OWES 30 dimes regardless of 12 years or 12 days. I have been stiffed through the years of over 40 dimes myself, one book alone in 1997 for 19610.00. Put yourself in Reno's position. Wounds heal but not usually not without scars. In my opinion the Bankruptcy rule does NOT apply after 7 years. A stiff is still a stiff. Enuff said.

The problem I have in putting someones name out there, is, although this is probably on the level.....what happens if somebody starts up with somebody who might not be guilty as charged????? It's hard enough to arbitrate sportsbook no or slow-pays but should the posting forum be used as a mediator in the case of the individual????

maybe someone ought to publish reno's real name? maybe that should be the criteria. you're only allowed to publish someones name if you come out of hiding yourself? how about it bworld?

gord, it should be evident that people like reno use these forums, and use the people that provide them and read them, for their own agendas. they could give a flying fuck about anybody else. they are out to protect their own rolls. if you see rhino hyping a book, you can be sure it's to pump up the book in order to protect his own ASSets. the more suckers he can get to the book the safer his money is.

now he's bitching about a 10 year old debt. if barry started a book tomorrow reno would ***w him and sing the praise of barrys superbook. as long as he got people to sign up so he could get his cash out.

that's what makes these forums useless. people like reno and their agendas, feeding on the unsuspecting suckers.

Without a chance to answer the stiff charges the man is INNOCENT. For all we know B.B. might have relatives with the exact same name. Do we throw them all under one blanket and call them stiffs? The only crime I see here is slander by the poster. This is an immoral and selfish post that should be deleted or altered. It smells like something Boomer would do.

First, I'd like to think that I've earned some credibility in this forum over the past couple of years. Naturally, there will always be detractors with an agenda, guys like Egg Noggin who have contributed virtually nothing of value to the posting forums of offshore watchdog sites. But the *****ity of posters, I believe, have respect for information that I present.

An offshore site has the option of deleting any post. Jeff and Brian allowed my post to
stand, and I thank them for that. Another site chose to delete my post, and I have no problem with that, either. It's a judgement call, and any site is entitled do whatever it feels is right.

In this case, I actually feel I'm providing useful information about a bad guy, an asshole who could end up ripping-off other people, particularly BMs. Furthermore, when I contacted Barry, I threatened him with putting the information on the Internet, and the arrogant SOB told me to go right ahead, which I did.

People can react in anyway they want to my post, but IMO, the bottom line is that Barry Boasburg is a stiff artist, and exposing him is providing a public service.

                        Reno,

Your post was an act of a desperate man. You are on the other end of that spectrum. 12 years?--LET IT GO. Do you want to draw attention to yourself using proper names that could eventually be traced to you? We all know that answer. You're not getting paid. Why compound the problem? Not too bright for a sharp.

The post has been edited.......hopefully the people that needed to see it, saw it. If not, get in touch with Reno dor the info.

I agree. There is nothing worse than a guy who owes and has no intention of paying, be it 12 days or 12 years.
