  • LIMITS SEVERELY CUT

I have been playing in two large well known offshore post up books over the past few years.

I have both of them beat pretty good.

Both books have always paid me in full and on time,no problem.

A friend of mine who is a "mover" needed a place to work so let him have an apartment I have.

For the last two weeks I have sat with him and played the "moves" into these two big post up books.

I have made a small profit, nothing approaching some of the larger payouts I have received in the past with no problem.

This Monday both books have severely cut my limits.

One to two dimes a game and one to one dime a game on all my plays.

Is this a regular practice in these offshore post up operations or did I just defy the odds and find two books with the same philosophy.

I have a number of credit books and these are my only two offshore books.

The only two I have ever posted up with.

Again this is no rant, just a question.

Both books have always paid promptly and treated me with the utmost respect.

This is standard. You're lucky to still be getting two dimes and a dime. 75% of the shops will just kick you out completely.

Why not disclose the name of the books? We'd all like to know!

I dont wish to give them any problem.

They have always honored their lines and paid like clockwork.

My post was merely a question:

"Is this a regular practice in these offshore post up operations or did I just defy the odds and find two books with the same philosophy?"

If they are 2 big post up books then they are probably on the db screen. If the books are afraid of steam or do not want that type of action, then why be on db at all? Is the purpose of db screen for players not to chase or beat steam??

Good point. Why not just take the bet and move the line? Seems elementary.
