  • Grand Central Sports Doesn't Pay Some Players:

A certain Handicapper along with 2 of his clients opened up accounts with Grand Central Sports in the total amounts of $1500. Approximately 10 to 11 days into the account the 3 players had turned it into $9300, showing a $7800 profit.
Upon logging into their accounts approximately 10 to 11 days after it was opened they noticed that there was a freeze/hold on the accounts so they called up Grand Central Sports to see what was going on. Peter Jacoby told them that he was not paying a handicapper. Mr. Jacoby also informed to them that they were not getting the winnings due to the fact that something about Grand Central could not verify the money was in the account to be originally wagered. This is after approximately 10 to 11 days that the money was deposited into the account and wagered.

The 3 players asked Mr. Jacoby of Grand Central Sports to credited the original $1500 deposit back to their credit cards in which Mr. Jacoby told them that there was rules that they had to follow. They had to leave the money for 30 days in the account before they could make a withdrawal. This was said even though Mr. Jacoby knew that one of the players was a handicapper and Mr. Jacoby earlier informed to him that he didn't pay handicappers.

The players went ahead and bet the Original $1500 and eventually lost the money, but they never did see the $7800 that they originally won.

BettorsTalk.com personally spoke with Mr. Jacoby about the original FTC article on our site for a brief time before Mr. Jacoby hung up on me. Mr. Jacoby informed me to go ahead and write the F*cking article about the nonpaying issue as he's going to sue me over the FTC article that was posted on BettorsTalk.com

If Mr. Jacoby has anything to add to this Non paying issue we at bettorstalk.com will be glad to listen to it as long as its civilized and non-threatining which was not the case in the first phone call from Mr. Jacoby.

    Jeff,
Can you get Grand Central to respond to this?

To me, perhaps the most valuable aspect of Bettorsworld is to get to the bottom of allegations like this.

Grand Central is on "The List" and I am sure that Jeff of Bettorsworld will investigate this very serious "no-pay" allegation for us ...

Peter isn't familiar with this situation.......

Personally, I know several sharp players who play at Grand Central and no one has ever complained of not getting paid.

If anyone can provide we with facts about this, feel free.

Otherwise, as far as I'm concerned, Grand Central pays it's players.

Bettorstalk, you really need to communicate the details of those allegations to Jeff, who will follow up on them with GCS. The FTC article is one thing, but no-pay is quite another (a serious allegation).

I can confidently say that there is more to that story that has been told here. I certainly consider myself a "handicapper", and have been a significant winner at GCS. I have always been paid very promptly.

I received two payouts for decent money which was transferred to two different books in Curacao. They were in my other accounts within one hour in both cases.

From my experiences with Grand Central, other than a problem with them not having Neteller funded and not knowing when they could have it funded, they pay very well.

My payout experience with them has been very very good.

I have won about 35 dimes net since starting with GC 18 months ago. NEVER a problem getting paid. Always prompt and always going the "extra yard" for the player. Alex Powers usually wishes me "continued sucess" after each payout or transfer.

This story sounds fishy to me!

                Jeff,

Do you really think Peter would admit anything about it?

The man can't even admit about the FTC stuff.

What about the slow payouts being reported too?

If you question my credibility shoot me an e-mail and I'll be glad to discuss it with you over the phone.

Harry the Hat passed away about 13 years ago. Your disrespect for one of the greatest sports gamblers, and men, of all time leaves much to be desired.

Message: I am sorry, but I have no idea who you are talking about. This has been my nickname since I was 7 years old and I am an old man now.

I was able to contact GCS about the statements here and they told me that this site never provides proof of what they document. I personally have loved this site since I stumbled across it last week. I hope whay GCS says is not true. I know for a fact they are a solid book. I and my buddies have been clients for almost 2 years. I highly recommend them.

But perhaps you're right Harry......since Gcs has such a low opinon of us, then please disregard what I said above, about them always paying, and please also disregard that they have been on the list for some time.

Perhaps we ought to document things more closely and make sure we don't miss anything in the future.

The only way the site can document such claims is for posters to follow up with info to Jeff, who is always happy to check things out.
