  • A $226,000+ Payout at The Sands!

$226,970.92 PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT WON AT THE SANDS OF THE CARIBBEAN® ONLNE CASINO

November 9, 2001 (St. John's, Antigua) – If winning huge jackpots continues to occur this regularly at The Sands of the Caribbean® Online Casino (www.thesands.com), then perhaps you should consider running for the nearest PC to ensure you’re part of the action.

For the fifth time this year, a huge progressive jackpot has been won at The Sands of the Caribbean®. This time, the winner was “BUSTER” who won $226,970.92 while playing Rags to Riches, a progressive jackpot game.

"It was an unbelievable feeling!" said the jackpot winner of USD $226,970.92 whose online handle is "BUSTER". "I was thinking to myself this could not be happening to me. It still has not really sunk in yet. I’ve got some bills that I’ve been wanting to pay off and now I can! The Sands of the Caribbean® is truly a first class online casino. Thanks again!" an elated and thankful BUSTER proclaimed.

The previous four jackpot winners at The Sands of the Caribbean® hit for $414,000, $235,000, $208,000 and $87,000 earlier this year.

Gwen Salmon, Director of Finance at The Sands of the Caribbean®, stated "Every one loves a winner and we’ve had our share of them this year. It’s great for this industry and it’s great for “BUSTER” in particular. As we continue to grow, so will the size and the frequency of the big jackpots being won" said Salmon.
"We’re nearing completion of the next generation of our software", Salmon went on to say, "which will again set the standard against which all companies will be measured in the online wagering industry. Stay tuned ‘cause you ain’t seen nothing yet!" proclaimed Salmon.
The Sands of the Caribbean® Online Casino (www.thesands.com) is a Caribbean based company holding multiple gaming licenses, currently serves more than 130,000 online customers worldwide and has paid out more than $2 billion USD to its players' accounts since being licensed in August of 1997. They also operate 49er Casino (www.49ercasino.com) and One on One Casino (www.1on1casino.com).
