I know DirecBet has fallen on tough times, and is trying to finalize arrangements with a buyer to help pay off their debts. I suppose I should just keep quiet and wait and hope that my post-up money will someday be returned.
But then I dropped them an e-mail request and got this "automatic reply", complete with a FAQ. One of the items is "How do I know my money is safe?", to which the answer is "All customer deposits are held in an insured escrow account until the outcome of a wager is determined . . ."
This is really shameless bull$hit.
