i have used this sportsbook in the past right now im playing at pinnacle and doing very well.my friend is beating up on ******* he has beaten them for well over 10 grand they do pay but now there starting to change the rules and hes getting pissed.a couple of weeks ago the steelers were playing titans on monday night the line was 3 i believe he told me that mark del and ******* made him lay -120 on the game.has anybody ever heard of a sportsbook charging that much vig on a game before he won anyways but thats not the point.mark i hope your not starting a trend with offshore sportsbooks because then i will just go back to my local man.southbostonjim

Charging -120 on the number 3 is done by most books as oppossed to moving off the number to 3'.......

jeff-who do you think your talking to i have 10 offshore accounts and on this game pinnacle,allworld,betworld and others all had the game -110 ive never seen any sportsbook make you lay -120 thats a fact.i dont want to hear they do this so they dont have to move the line i check every week with at least 5 sportsbooks and never once have i seen a sportsbook make you lay -120 on any game if you ever come across an example let me know ive never seen it and i wont bet into it.southbostonjim

1) No book MAKES you bet a game. It's your choice to pass.

2) This scenario happens week in and week out in the NFL. It is extremely common.

3) If you think the book is ripping your buddy off @-120, then what is the book doing to all those lucky players who take the other side at even money???

Most books are adjusting the juice when the number is 3 or another key number, in fact I am sure All World does it as well. Its just that the books are terrified of being middled and feel that the 3 is an almight number.

Don't think they are changing the rules on you just trying to protect themselves off of a key number.

-120 is very common. This is actually good as you can do your shopping and find the three at -110. Or as Jeff mentioned if you like the dog you get them at even money. And I like to buy the half point on 3 alot of times so to get +3.5 at -120 is nice!

i must be missing something all you whack jobs are in favor of sportsbooks raising the vig to -120 i have been betting at pinnacle the best offshore sportsbook in the world and all there games are -108 if the game moves a half either way or whatever its a flat rate it up to you to pick the right side.i know all about buying half a point but on a flat wager why should i be forced to lay -120 when at pinnacle i can get the same number and lay -105.you guys must love giving your extra money to these sportsbooks.

Sorry coffee, but they're exactly right. Many books now will move the moneyline instead of the pointspread if it is on the number 3, because it is SUCH a valuable number. And for the -120 that you don't like there is also a +100 looking very good to the other side.
it's not about raising the vig to -120. It's just as simple as they decided to move on that game for whatever reason, and they choose to move the moneyline instead.
To answer your question, why should you be forced to lay -120 when you can get the same number and lay -105 at pinancle? You shouldn't. Go make your bet at pinnacle, then. That's what they call "shopping".

i still dont get it i want to lay -105 at pinnacle on all games i dont care about the number.i bet you guys are the same people that dont mind betting 20 cent baseball lines when pinnacle offers you 8 cent lines.i want everything on the table when i join a sportsbook if i happen to like a game say for instance i liked the steelers that night -3 i dont want to call ******* and then all of the sudden they tell me i have to lay -120.if you guys cant understand this then im missing something.i can bet with my local guy they never change the vig standard 110-100.southbostonjim

Stay at Pinnacle if thats what you like, I am glad they have a great service for you. You said it all if you don't care what the number is but can lay -105 go bet them all day long. But don't make these other books sound like crooks or scammers because the adjust the money on key numbers.

dont know jack-in this business we need competition i dont know how much you bet but i bet 500 to 1000 a game almost every day so if i can save money at another book im going to do that.3 years ago almost all sportsbooks offered us 10 cent lines for baseball then they formed a union and half decided they would all bond together and go to a 20 cent line.the problem i see when a sportsbook makes you lay 120 every time a game lands on 3 or 7 this encourages other books to follow.im not going to say anymore about this subject im happy at pinnacle they have the lowest vig on all sports and they pay.i lay -105 on all football games and 108 on all totals thats all i want basketball also.baseball i lay -108 no 20 cent line on baseball at pinnacle.lets support the books that fair to us year round.beantownjim
