That's nice, but I'm asking players, not books. Which books can give me a variety of numbers, not just clone numbers?

Of the books I use Sportsinteraction has the most unclone like lines..Usually heavy on the favorite. Low limits compared to other books..I too would be interested in knowing of other shops that have lines that vary from the norm...I'd take lines that are off a bit before any promotional stuff being offered..Actually I'd like to have both if i could.

Unfortunately, this is a question many won't want to answer. There's lots of competition out there for those different numbers. Posting them in here will probably make them go away

I see. That's why I'm not getting many responces. Guess I'll have to figure this one out for myself.

                Dragon is pretty much correct.

There are a few that make it a point in their advertising that they are non-clone, such as Alladin's Gold.

Most of these guys are close, number wise, but I have seen slight differences at some books:

Carib sometimes is off by 1/2 to a point early in the week and has 2% juice on Tuesdays.

Royal will put up a number that is off 1/2 point from the other books and sticks with it all week. They have an opinion. They also have 5% juice on Friday.

Safari (not on the list) has some line variation as does Vegas Inernational (also not on the list). I got San Fran there Friday night at +3 (-117). They offer 7% juice.

Olympic takes a stand on numbers as well and has his up early. WSEX can vary some but it is more teh exception more than the rule.

I used to play at the original betmaker and know that they used to shade the favorites by 1/2 a point - so it was the place to play dogs.

I'd like to hear the definition of a "clone" joint if you could and am interested in what other players have to say concerning outs that aren't clones and what makes them so designated.

My opinion of a "clone joint is" is if i can wirth a virtual certainty tell exactly what a books linwe will be by looking the don best screen's general consenses theyre are books and some that i use because of good promtions half juice or whatever that durinbg the middle of the day when lines aren't moving i don't even bother getting a run down because i'd know all their #s even though they themselves aren't on the screen....look I don't expect a book to be holding a number 2 or 3 points off for very long
but some are a little ridiculuos in cloning their lines when the screen jumps by every half a point
unless their incentives are special I won't be their very long... some like mentioned above take a middle of the raod approach shaidng their lines
on a few games one way or another and either overmoving lines after the steam hits or not movi moving "public' favorites as much as others . tehse books probably make the most money in the long run because they stimulate action and get a reputation of not just being one of the clones....one example is aces gold how many times ive seen a public move to 3 or 3.5 on game day while they hold their # steady in my opinion thats great bookmaking especially for an offshore joint because one always would know that if they needed to get the small favorite late they'd have to have money in that accout and so on...

Why don't you do what I do...go into the MySportsbook section here at BettorsWorld. They have quite a few books listed. In fact I sent the service an email Saturday about the database of books. They told me that Grand Central, Carib, *******, VIP, NASA, MEGA, BET365, CanBet, Aces Gold, Score, Gibraltar, Pinnacle and Olympic were beign integrated this week and next. The odds are delayed 1 to 2 minutes, and it's a good way to look for clones and vaues, and middles!!

One day all the books will probably all be hooked in together like they did in Las Vegas. Probably have some sort of a parimutual system and everyone will have only ONE line. So enjoy the variances while they last!

Get's harder and harder to find good line variances from place to place these days. As SH mentioned, Alladins Gold is known for having opinionated lines.
