I place a 3 team, 6 point basketball teaser. I win 2 games and tie 1. The only rule for teasers on their website states "If a selection in the teaser is a push, the teaser will drop to the next lower level. A push in a two team teaser without a loss will make the entire bet a push." They call it a push and cancel the bet. What should happen hear in your opinion, a cancel or a reduce to a 2 teamer?
When I ask them about it they reply "You selected what is referred to as a sweetheart teaser which is different than a regular teaser as you can see from the internet. On a sweetheart teaser you must win all the games in order to win."
I reply "I would like for you to please point out one place on the internet
where you have the rules listed for them. I searched your web page for near an hour last night looking for the rules for them and all I could find in your rule book was the one part I quoted to you last night. Could you please direct
me to the web page that has the rule?"
They come back with "There is no rule on the web site for this. Is is something that is standard
procedure for all online sportsbooks."
Standard procedure or not, nothing ever stated anywhere I was placing a sweetheart teaser, just a teaser. They tell me it is listed on the internet to find, then when I ask them to point it out to me, they then say there is no rule listed for it. What gives here? It isn't for a whole bunch of money, and the place is otherwise always top notch, so I am not going to argue for hours and hours, just looking for some opinions here on if I have a case or not?
