I place a 3 team, 6 point basketball teaser. I win 2 games and tie 1. The only rule for teasers on their website states "If a selection in the teaser is a push, the teaser will drop to the next lower level. A push in a two team teaser without a loss will make the entire bet a push." They call it a push and cancel the bet. What should happen hear in your opinion, a cancel or a reduce to a 2 teamer?

When I ask them about it they reply "You selected what is referred to as a sweetheart teaser which is different than a regular teaser as you can see from the internet. On a sweetheart teaser you must win all the games in order to win."

I reply "I would like for you to please point out one place on the internet
where you have the rules listed for them. I searched your web page for near an hour last night looking for the rules for them and all I could find in your rule book was the one part I quoted to you last night. Could you please direct
me to the web page that has the rule?"

They come back with "There is no rule on the web site for this. Is is something that is standard
    procedure for all online sportsbooks."

Standard procedure or not, nothing ever stated anywhere I was placing a sweetheart teaser, just a teaser. They tell me it is listed on the internet to find, then when I ask them to point it out to me, they then say there is no rule listed for it. What gives here? It isn't for a whole bunch of money, and the place is otherwise always top notch, so I am not going to argue for hours and hours, just looking for some opinions here on if I have a case or not?

The issue has been resolved, but I would still appreciate any opinions on which side you lean to.

Seems to me the rule they have posted about a push dropping down to the next level would apply. They can't expect that everyone is going to automatically know all rules on all bets. If they don't clearly post it, they are at fault. I have placed different types of teasers at different books where it says right there BEFORE youplace the bet, ties lose, or ties oush, or whatever the case may be.

Ruling in favor of the player!

If they honored your wager, I would still consider them top notch. If they didn't, I would hesitate to play there.

So, who is the mystery book?

It was a 3 teamer $55 to win $50. They didn't "technically" honor it, it stayed a push, but they gave me a $50 credit to resolve the fact that they admit it should have been in the rules and will be when the webmaster returns from vacation. If they would have just reduced it, it would have payed way less than the $50, but that just demonstrates again why Olympic is near the top of every list there is.

Glad to see it worked out for you and glad to see Olympic is going to make sure it's added into the rules. Nice job by Olympic!

            Hi all,
Just want to throw in my 2 cents about Olympic. I posted up there because I have heard a lot of good things about them. I posted up with 5 dimes and was given a 500 bonus. I won my first bet for 5 dimes and put in for a neteller withdrawal. There site states Neteller withdrawals are processed 24 hrs/day--should be no problem right? Wrong! First, I was told I can not withdraw my WINNINGS without forfeiting my bonus. I asked why that is not stated anywhere but I don't care keep the bonus. Second, I was told Neteller withdrawals are processed in the morning and I would have to wait for my withdrawal. Again I told them the website clearly states neteller withdrawals 24hrs. a day. Finally, I was told I can only withdraw 2500 a day via Neteller. That was the last straw I said fine keep the bonus close my account and send me MY money. Now I was told the owner would be contacted to see if I can withdraw winnings and 5000 form Neteller. 30 minutes later I was told the owner said no those are the rules. Fine my acct was closed and I got all my money back. I guess my point here is why all the hassle? Post your damn rules or tell me about them. Everybody says how great Olympic is but I have to disagree, I wouldn't call this a slow-pay persee but any delay in getting my money when I am clearly in no violation of any rule that I can possibly be aware of horrible way to be treated. As far as I am concerned Jazz sports stays #1 on my list I just wish they had more lines to choose form. Best no hassle customer support in the biz. Bye olympic, please state your rules SOMEWHERE. Thanks again Jazz and I will be sending 10dimes your way tomorrow. Thanks for listening.

I agree with you on the neteller stuff. It seems to be a common problem that the rules differ so much from book to book. There are some books that only allow $2500 per day and still others that have no daily limit. I imagine it's because books find it tough to keep their neteller accounts funded properly in order to take care of all possible requests. In otherwords, why pay one guy five dimes and have to tell 10 guys who want 500 no.

The only problem I have with this is that I never see any notes that say, sorry, we only accept $2500 per day in DEPOSITS!
