  • Sonny!!! You made a great point!

the part about the expense of withdrawing funds is still kinda foggy to me for most of the books i have accounts at. i have only withdrawn from two of them. is there anywhere that lists the fees all the BW books charge for removing funds? i think this would be quite helpful to alot of people to know who charges how much for what how often. i dont move money around all that often but when i am up a set amount i request a payout & have not had any problems when i do this from nasa. i know there are some who post here that dont like nasa for whatever reasons & that is their right. i have never had a problem with getting paid by them at no charge. i think their policy is one free payout every 30 days. any thoughts????

Hart Attack, you are so right that sportsbook need to make their withdrawal expenses more clear. A few do so, but probably less than half.

Things are too complicated when it comes to these fees.

Alot of the books I deal with on this site give you one free payout a week, which really, should be enough for most people, although I guess it depends what you're doing and how much you move around.

I think the small players really get hammered on their withdrawls.

A guy playing 25 buck a game not only has to overcome the vig, he has to overcome the withdrawl fees too!

Hollywood International http://www.hollywoodsportsbook.com is one of the books on this site, so let me, in response to the previous query, explain our payout system: we cover the first $30 of one Western Union payout every 30 days, beginning 30 days after the first deposit (if the payout requested is $700 and the WU fee is $45, we charge the customer $15); for fedexed checks, we cover one payout on the same terms: we'll send out one check at no cost once every 30 days; we'll usually cover Neteller fees, same goes for PayPal.

If you ask why not all free, there are a couple of initial reasons: 1) to avoid having to make constant payouts at a considerable loss; 2) we cover fees on WU deposits of $300+, which over the course of a year adds up to quite a significant amount.

Hollywood's payouts are same-day (allow for time for checks, of course) hassle-free, totally secure and guaranteed. You might pay $30 if you want a payout outside the stipulations we make, but you know you'll receive the money asap.

Hart Attack - yes that would be nice. A list of books with the payout fee schedules and a list of books that will do book to book transfers nand the cost, if any, of said transfers.

Jeff? Brian? If you build it they will come? If I build it they might come

Let me know if you want to would like to add that feature and if you need some help.

I'd be happy to set this up, either on BW or my own site. No matter where - it would be a pretty useful tool and also may encourage books to do transfers between themselves, since all things being equal - they would get my play over one that didn't.

I am having some trouble with my ISP as of late, and will start on it when that is cleared up. I have the infamous @Home as a provider and lately am running at 10Kbs - which is about twice as slow as a 28.8 modem.

                  So we want to see:

1.) Types of payouts and their costs.
2.) Books that do transfers to other books, and the cost - if any.

No - I was in the Stardust years ago and it was pretty neat, but last tinme I was there, it looked like just another grind joint.

Is there anything else we want to see?

                  As always - Good luck,

                  Sonny

Allright - since there was an interest and it would be nice to see who charges what under what circumstances, here is what I came up with:

                    http://www.spreadwinners.com/BookInfo/terms.asp

Let me know if the format is ok, or needs some work. I tend to like javaScript pop ups because they use hardly any bandwidth, which means they're fast!

Mark - thanks for responding and could you please clarify the statement:

[quote] we'll usually cover Neteller fees, same goes for PayPal.

I'm not sure how often "usually" is. Could you clarify the terms for the free payout?

Anyone want to contribute with the info from a favorite book, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'll be happy to donate it to BW when it's done if they will maintain it, otherwise, I'll house it and maintain it at my site.

Let me clarify to set the record straight: with 99% of payouts, we'll cover the NETeller/PayPal fee. It's only when we void bonuses on premature (basically large) payouts via these two that we don't cover them - it's usually only $15. Anything else? I don't want any fuzzy areas. ASnd I'll fill out whatever stuff you need.

Sonny: As to your query about Hollywood International (clarifying the question marks):

                        Deposits:
                        Wire Transfer - free
Credit Card - free, but reduced bonuses

                        Payouts:
                        Wire Transfer - free
Credit Card - no payouts now by credit card, client can choose WU or check, etc.

                        Transfers:
From/to almost all major offshore sportsbooks located in Costa Rica, no fee

That answer some of your questions?

Mark - thanks for the quick response. I'm not going to include every variation (voiding bonuses) but I appreciate your clarification. So I have PayPal and NETeller as Free.

If the player doesn't meet the bonus requirement and requests a payout, I consider that outside the normal business practice. The $15 for a payout will be the least of his worries I am guessing.

Let me ask you this - I deposit 1K, get a $150 bonus and start playing. After three weeks, I have rolled it over twice, and don't meet the bonus requirement (3X) yet. Say I am up $500, so the account balance is $1650 - can I get a free $500 payout via PayPal or NETeller?

I can see this can get complicated and I am trying to simplify it.

I need clarification on the books you transfer to. As far as who will transfer to you, I will leave it to those establishments to detail their own policies.

                          [quote]Transfers:
From/to almost all major offshore sportsbooks located in Costa Rica, no fee

The problem with this is it assumes the player knows what books are in Costa Rica. Belive me some don't know at all. Also we are left to someone's interpretation of "major offshore books," so it isn't possible to be certain who we are talking about.

I don't want the player to have to know what books operate where, or which are considered "major." I want them to go to your listing, see the specifics of what the terms are and who you transfer to. I'd like to remove the guesswork.

Hey - thanks again for your (continuing) input. Feel free to email me [email protected] or post the books here that you transfer to.

Sonny: we'll send you a free $500 payout via Neteller/PayPal, since you're leaving money in the account, but we'll deduct the $150 bonus we gave you, since you haven't rolled over the initial deposit three times to qualify.

Some of the books we transfer to are Casa Blanca, Cascade, Coastal, CRIS, Del Mar, Diamond, DM4, Goto, Jazz, NASA, Olympic, Rio, SportsBet, SportsMarket, WIT...

                            Does this clarify further?

Sonny: just to make it absolutely clars (as mud) - we won't deduct that $150 (bonus) from the nickel payout, but from what is left in the account; i.e., you stand at $1,000 with Hollywood after the payout.
