hi,could someone please tell me best way to go about signing up with a sportsbook.ive heard people using fake names and stuff (is this smart?)als what is the best way to get paid if you win?(paypal?)how do you hide your winnings from the IRS?im eager to get started. if someone could help me that would be great.

Geez Mike...

Using a fake name ain't a good way of gettin' paid. Not sure where doing something like that would be smart in the world of internet wagering.
Anyway, I recommend choosing a book from the list on the front page of this site, then do a little research around the internet using search engines and looking at independent forums for comments.

Read the rules at the books your considering, understand the bonus structures, the payout schedules/policies/fees, and then even go as far as calling the book during a non-busy time and explain that you are a first time player and want to talk with someone. If you feel like you've gotten good customer service in that phone call, and you've done your homework... you're ready to try a book out. Good luck and whatever you do...don't even consider using a fake name. You'll be blacklisted more than likely and it serves no good purpose anyway. Who will they make a check out to? Where will you cash it? Why would you even want to do that?

Probably not worth it using a fake name with the new security measures that are bound to be in place soon.

If you want to go through the hassle of getting a fake license and other fake id's well then maybe you have something.

But then, aside from worrying about your taxes and your betting, you'll also have to worry about taking a pinch for criminal impersonation!
