Did the books make a killing on the Superbowl?

A 14 point dog winning outright in the biggest game of the year.

They must have had one of the greatest days in the history of the business.

I doubt they made a killing. Maybe it's just me, but I just find it hard to believe that more people were on the RAMS than the Patriots.

I'm just kicking myself for not betting the outright win. I was tempted, but hindsight is 20/20.

Tripled my money.

The books lost. Period. Some worse than others. Go figure.

I think it was a mixed bag as far as results go. Some lost pretty bad. Others actually won big. I've heard both extremes and I've also heard from some shops that the results were pretty uneventful.

I think the shops that deal more to wiseguys got hurt the most.....
