  • ATTN. BOOKS RE: NASCAR

Please post what you plan to offer and what day of the week you will post them:

    1. Qualifying matchups
    2. Pole winner
    3. Race winner
    4. Race matchups (head to head or group)
    5. Season matchups
    6. Season over/unders
    7. Special props

If you don't wish to book action on Race matchups until race day, please post them with or without odds at least one day early.

    TIA,
    Jeff

P.S. This is not meant to be written in stone, but just what your honest plans are.

IMO, most books want nothing to do with NASCAR or F1 anymore; they only offer it because they can’t afford not to. Thus, I don’t think any book is going to come out looking to have a good NASCAR player post up with them.

Funny thing though is that I always hear how books get hammered on Auto Racing yet I never hear how any book has anyone on staff who knows anything about racing other than Olympic and maybe GCS on the F1 side. Hmmmm, you’d think they’d be able to put 1+1=2 together by now.

Anyway, could you please post here for what you find out.

And to all the books out there that might see this, you will get money from me if you offer both NASCAR and F1 QUALIFYING Matchups. Places that offer both for race matchups are easy to find. I like more action on my weekend though. Want a new account; it’s that simple to get my patronage. But, there is a disclaimer: no 50-cent lines like the Euro books and no pulling the F1 matchups more than an hour before qualifying starts. Since F1 runs in the rain and rain changes everything, how can some books expect me to place a wager without seeing the weather report at the last possible minute?

I currently post up at Canbet, Olympic, Pinnacle, and Royal. I also play at a couple of others, but I'd send funds to another book or two if they had something to offer.

This what I mean about books backing off from NASCAR. Last year by this time, all but one of my outs had matchups up for the Twin 125 Qualifying Racesthat are about 18 hours away now. This year, not a single one, not even Olympic, has posted any.

From what I understand the NASCAR betting public is alot sharper, as a group, than all the other sports.

I've heard some stories about some very successful NASCAR players.......not surprised to see the books back off.
