hi,i just got a check from vip sports.this is my first time getting money sent to me from offshore.can i bring the check to my bank or is this going to be a problem?i dont want to come out in handcuffs.check is for five dimes.should i pay the taxes?

As with all income, this check is subject to taxes. If you have proof of investment and expenses, then these can offset taxable income.
