  • The government is at fault as much as ACES GOLD

I sent this letter to the Curaçao government.

There were a lot of people who lost a lot of money. The government of Curaçao hasn't done anything. The government should have procedures to ensure all deposit monies are held in escrow. There should be a gaming panel to insure this doesn't happen and if the money wasn't held in escrow, the government should be held responsible. If the Senate or Congress gets word of what happened, you can bet that their would be a greater push to stop any off shore betting in Curaçao. The only companies Americans will be able to deal with are the off shore companies that will soon be created by Nevada casinos and they surely will not be formed in Curaçao. It's in your governments best interest to fix this problem as I was one of the people who lost $10,809 because of your lack of regulation. My next call, email and letter will be to the press where I have someone who will pass this on to a Senator. This is unacceptable in regard to what has happened with Aces Gold and the response of Curaçao is unacceptable before and after the fact. You want Americans to send money to your country, will then take the time to make sure our money is safe.

All you will accomplish here is making it even tougher to transfer funds to and from your favorite shop.

The train left the station a long time ago for big brother to stop the growth of the off-shore business.

Furthermore they were never interested in regulation of the industry.

They merely want to tax the participants.

i have to agree. we have to accept the fact that this is just an extension of what it was 20 years ago. this is no different than dealing with bookmakers in the states for years. the only difference is they moved offshore to stay out of the reach of the law. you may not realize it but you're better off as a player not to have regulation. more deals.more ways to profit. regulation would kill most of that. i'll keep taking my chances.
