I was wondering if anyone has anything good or bad to say about sportsbook.com. I am thinking of using them as another "out" but with all the talk about the industry, I would really like to make sure I put my money into something relatively safe.

Thoughts?

stay as far away from them as you can,i used to play there and at one time they were good,however it has been downhill for them for quite some time,they will slow pay you and i have never been able to understand even one person on the phone

Sportsbook.com was aquired by Sportingbet UK sometime last year. They should be one of the safest books in the industry. Am I missing something?

I have no complaints. They have a 10% reup bonus currently running on Wed and Thursday, plus they take credit cards with no hassle and give you the reup bonus on credit card deposits. I have always been payed promptly. They aggressively promote and I have received lots of little perks sent to me via fedex; hats, jackets, cd holders, mouspads, etc. I think they cater more to the small to medium player, I can't imagine they would be receptive to wiseguy/syndicate types. Yes, they have been acquired by sportingbet usa and are part of a publically traded company. Financially solid. I think they are a good out for small to medium players.
