  • The bright side of the Aces failure???

I knew the title would get your attention.......

But could the Aces situation serve as a correction of sorts? I'm a big believer in the points made in the following article:

    http://www.bettorsworld.com/oddswiz/bonuses.html

Let's face it, bonuses create monopoly money. Over the years tons of monopoly money has been kicked into this industry. It's money that doesn't exist. It never existed. It only existed on paper. Or in this case in peoples balance figures at their books.

Somewhere along the line, SOMEONE has to pay for it. Someone has to account for this fake money.

A player posts up 5 dimes and gets a 1k bonus. Now we're all very skeptical at this point that books have the capital to match players deposits, never mind come up with another 20% on top of that.

Maybe the player busts out his account in 5 or six bets. Let's say he's scalping.......those fake dollars just end up in another book. Where the process starts all over again with what amounts to free shots with monopoly money.

So my question is, could Aces going under possibly make the sportsbook industries "economy" healthier by getting rid of all the monopoly money??
