I hear they are having problems. Anyone know what is happening with them???

Problems as in going bust? I thought that they were merely part of a CC processing company, no?

These guys are no-paying mvtherfvcking CON ARTISTS. They should change their names to FIRE(DON'T)PAY!!!

They cheated me out of a withdrawal request by claiming my credit card issuer, capital one, "stole" my money back because they are a blacklisted merchant. In sum, my credit card issuer is assuring my firepay has my money and has not processed the payout (WHICH REQUEST IS OVER 2 MONTHS OLD!!) and firepay is assuring me that capital one still has my money! I know who is the LIAR AND THE CHEAT HERE, AND IT IS FIRE(DON'T)PAY!! I know that because for weeks, they have been promising me they will graciously "take care of the situation" by "eating" the charges themselves and send me a check while they fight with capital one. When it came time to walk the walk, however, FIRE(DON'T)PAY abruptly changed their minds and said I had to "sue" capital one myself!

I WOULDN'T TOUCH THERE ARSEHOLES WITH A TEN FOOT POLE. FIRE(DON'T)PAY SHOULD BE THE ONES PERMANENTLY BLACKLISTED FROM THE OFFSHORE INDUSTRY. ANYBODY WHO USES THEM IS A SUCKER

All of these services are no different than sportsbooks. You can still get stiffed. No one should think that just because they are only transferring funds they are safe. They can run in the red and come up short very easily. They can use your post up money just like the books!

FirePay is part of Surefire Commerce who claim to be one of the largest processors of online credit cards--largely for gambling establishments. They do have a website and have been quoted in news publications, the must have some culpability. A LOT of the offshore books use these guys because they were supposed to be one of the most reliable. These places have gone out of business or been in trouble in the past. There was a processing center out of England that went bust a year or two ago. I'd call and ask to speak with a manager, or find out who the principals are and ask to talk to them.

Yeah, I've called FIRE(DON'T)PAY many times to ask to speak to the head manager, or even get his name/fax number. After fighting with a telephone clerk for 1/2 an hour while they "research" the problem, they inevitably transfer me to some low-level flunky who WON'T GIVE ME HIS REAL NAME or even give me the name of the owners and their addresses or fax number! WHAT A SCAM THIS OUTFIT IS...A TOTAL FLY BY NIGHTER. ANY BOOK THAT TRUSTS/USES FIRE(DON'T)PAY IS NOT DOING THEY CLIENTS ANY FAVORS!

Anyone having further problems with these guys? Lots of books are using them and a lot of people are reporting trouble with credit backs. Any credit card users with an update could be helpful.

I'll be darned but I actually got paid. It took 3 months, but these SOB's came through.

That doesn't mean I am happy with them and would recommend using them again, their customer service is God-awful. I would wait on the phone for over half an hour sometimes just to get a clueless clerk who could only give me a handjob and pass me off to a supervisor. It pissed me off even more when they refused to give me their physical business address and the real names of the persons I was speaking with (they must have known I was contemplating making a FTC complaint against them).

In any event, a happy ending to a sordid affair.

Sounds like it's betst to stay away. That's crazy. 3 months. First you have to worry about the books paying you then you have to worry about the middleman. Unreal!
