  • Help-Need Sportsbook Recommendation! Need 2 things: Formula 1 wagering, and IF bets

    Hi all -
Can someone out there help me? I'm looking for a sportsbook that takes both detailed wagering on FORMULA-1 Racing, and also has "IF" bet capability.

    Any suggestions??

    Thanks.

    Formula1

bet365usa have 19 different markets up right now for the Brazilian Grand Prix.

We don't do if bets on the web (yet), but you can have them on the 'phone. Our regular 'phone operators won't understand, so ask to be put through to the US trading desk.

I can vouch for Bet365 - they are a top notch book. They also listen to the customers. Last week I asked why I couldn't parlay matchups online and within 3 days the capability to parlay matchups was there. And on Saturday I asked why my online limits were so much lower than the stated limits and within minutes the problem was fixed.

I don't particularly understand the purpose of IF bets so I can't comment on that. It seems to me if you like 2 different games then you should just bet them either alone or in a parlay. I'm not sure why you would want one bet to hinge on another if you like both games.

        Hi lazz,
I would be happy if somebody else is interested in Formula 1.
        I´m normally alone.

(this is my first pick for Brazil).

        I use for Formula 1:
        betandwin
        Interwetten
        betathome
        Olympic
        pinnacle
        carib
        WSEX
        .....

This "not-too--much-covered" sport offers a lot of opportunities - believe me !!!

I signed up at Bet365USA a couple months ago on a whim to get a NASCAR future and now, after just two races, they’re my number one place for F1 as well. If you like props especially (and I do), that’s the place to go.

Excellent service there. I requested a PayPal payout on 10pm on a Friday and had it by 11….that’s pm on a Friday! Most E-mails will be answered within a few hours.

My only complaint is unimaginative F1 matchups, especially for qualifying. It’s 90% teammate vs. teammate and that’s boring. Don’t give me Hiedfeld vs Massa at –300; give me Hieldfeld vs. Button at –120 and Massa vs Sato, etc, etc. That really is my only complaint though.

BERT – F1 definitely offers a lot of opportunities. So much so that I’d just as soon keep picks of off the various forums so that people who know nothing about F1 can go and hammer the books along with the F1 fans and then we all lose with less F1 offerings on tap from the books. You’re not alone, others of us just want to keep those opportunities coming.

Two more books that have F1, including matchups, are Royal and Intertops.

Bert is right, there's a lot of opprtunity in F1...........especially the qualifying matchups.

Books tend to put up drivers from the same team because drivers of the same teams generally qualify together. Olympic has Ralph Schumacher vs. Rubens Barichello for this week and I really like Barichello although I haven't bet it yet. The Brazilian track is a slow, dusty old wreck of a track and those were the exact tracks which the Williams struggled on all of last year. On the faster and newer tracks Williams drivers were by far and away the best cars but on the slower tracks they qualified mid pack.

On the other hand, the Ferraris tend to qualify well on any surface and Barichello has a pole and a 3rd place qualifier already in 2 races. Plus Brazil is Barichello's home track. I expect the pole will go to Michael Schumacher but I expect Barichello to be next to him on the grid.
