  • Unified Gaming Licensee Debate

A lot has been said about the Unified Gaming software company taking over licensees and causing them to go broke on purpose. It is true to some extent. The most recent announcement that Homewagering.com would take over a group of other Unfied books that were floundering after a bad football season and credit card woes.

It has been said that the former owner of Unfied Gaming's son is running this Homewagering.com, who claims to have been around for years. Isn't it odd that one of the floundering books taken over by Homewagering was Gambling Stadium, another book that had claimed to be around for years that just popped up when more Unified books were in trouble. They are now part of Homewagering.

Some say the former owner of Unified Gaming, no longer able to be involved in the day to day activities of the business for legal reasons, gave control to his attorney in Curacao who then moved the official headquarters to France. The former owner, who now operates as a "consultant" allegedly uses an office located in the same facilities as the advertising company used by almost all of the Unified books.

Credit Card processing? The former Perplexa company was located in the same place as many of the Unified books and was run by some people that also operated some of the books themselves. The new company that most Unfied books use to process is supposedly just a renamed version of perplexa using a slightly different processor.

What does all this mean? Who knows, but it seems like a lot of conflicts of interest. A software company that also offers marketing, credit card processing, office space, logistical help, and then "bail out" help? Anyone who has money in these companies should question whether they are all being run at some level by the same person.
