I've noticed you can increase the amounts of time your threads appear read by just clicking and reclicking on them. For all we know they pay people to click. Also, many responses are "i sent you an e-mail" or "i left you a voicemail". Makes the number of responses jump even though they don't say diddly squat.

I believe that it is in the best interest to air all information, but not to keep it in the limelight to promote oneself.
