  • Winning "Highs" & Losing "Lows"

I've noticed that my winning "highs" are not nearly as intense and lasting as my losing "lows". On a winning streak it's almost as if I'm "walking on egg shells" waiting from the inevitable.

Is this common among BW posters or does your "highs" far exceed your "low" times ?? Just curious.

I try and avoid highs and lows by using money management, so that no matter what happens, it only affects the bankroll a known degree.

During NCAA I increased my BR about 20% - good for someone risking only 1% per wager. Towards the end, I gave it all back.

It's not like I didn't enjoy winning more than losing, but money management limited the effect either way.

The lows always seem worse/longer than the highs.
    As Always - Good Luck,

    Sonny

Not a bad idea to take a break when you're in the middle of a low. That way it can't get too bad.

The average sportsbettor will allow himself to lose far more than he'll allow himself to win. That's a fact.
