Ever had the feeling that you're dealing with a circus rather than a proper sportsbook? Well that's just the impression I got today of VIP Sports.
The place is a mess... unprofessional and misleading to say the least. Just several minutes ago they managed to piss me off with their pathetic approach to customer service. I play five games to the limit (lousy limit at only $500 btw) and I remembered that I still have the bonus to place. So I get on their online chat and ask if I can still bet my bonus on one of those games. After waiting for a minute I get a reply: yes, you can.
So before ending my chat I give it a shot. - Error, can't place bet because the limit has been reached - . I quickly inform the lady of the problem. She replies that I can call in to have it placed and she proceeds to give me their phone number. Everything was fine up until that point.
So I call at international rates and speak to someone who sounds like he's never taken a bet in his life, or has only began learning how to operate the system half-an-hour earlier. One minute passes, finally he finds the bet I'm asking for. Should take him 10 seconds considering VIP's range of bets is the smallest you'll find of any sportsbook out there. Anyway, after two minutes there seems to be something wrong. Ah, hmmmm, emmmm, three minutes. Four minutes. By this time I would have manages to place 3-5 bets at Bowmans. Five minutes. "You have already bet the limit. That's the problem." So I say, "Exactly, that's why I'm calling. I was told ten minutes earlier to call in this bet because I couldn't get it placed online." More holding. Six minutes. Seven minutes. Eight minutes. "Sorry, blah, blah, blah, you can't have the bet." After nine minutes of wasting my time and money the only thing I come out with is the knowledge that this book probably has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with - and this is just day one of me being a customer. Welcome to VIP Sports everyone.
