Steve has the first two points right on the money and in the correct order.....
Track record of prompt payout history, and secondly but also very important customer service. A book should treat their customers with respect. Because quite frankly, if they don't, there are plenty of other choices for the player.

Yeah. Bets offered is important. Afer the DO THEY PAY issue. I guess if several books all pay the deciding factor would be bets offered. Props, 5 inning lines, halftimes, reduced juice, they all factor in.
Personally I like the reduced juice specials. Kind of rewrites the history books. It was always drilled into our heads you need 53% to break even. Not anymore! With the no juice specials, 50% is all it takes.
Speaking of no juice specials, are their any yet?
