  • SBG Global in Costa Rica

What is up with these guys? They were making headlines awhile ago when they were sneaking in similar domain names to drive traffic to their site, but they seem to have dropped off the map. I was visiting a site the other day and saw they are the premier sponsor...and claim to be the biggest in the world.

Are they solid or are they still regarded as shady since they were using such shitty marketing tactics?

    SBG Global

They are one of my three outs. Positives are they are the largest and pay promply. I don't know where you have been but they are very high profile. They advertised on the Howard Stern Show last year and are currently advertising on FOX Sports Radio nationally. Negatives are they take over URL's once abandoned and direct them to their site and don't take people who are bearding for Billy Walters,(The Shrink). If you are gambling offshore they should be someone to consider.

I didn't mean to indicate they had become obsolete. I just had not heard anything about them or from them in a long time. I guess no news is good news these days, but you never know. I wanted some opinions!

I wasn't too happy about the URL scam, but the biggest reason I took a break from them was that they disappeared from the screens. If someone would pick them up (maybe Oddswiz) I would return to SBG.

Steve Turner's Opinion On SBG Global

Steve Turner doesn't want you to go to SBG Global because he wouldn't get a cut of the pie. The way these services work is if they refer you to a book, they get 25% of your loses. It's a well known fact. That's how these scumbags make money.

Flyer: You sound like a shill for Sbg global. My company dosen't operate on a sheet. I sell advertising to off shore books of my choice. I send regular invoices and get paid by these companies.

Negatives are they take over URL's once abandoned and direct them to their site, was your statement. This is not correct entirely. They camped on some sights years ago using sports service names. Not abandoned sites.

I have learned over the years that those people who lie, usually cheat.

                  SBG Global

I am not a shill for them. They just happen to be one of my three outs. Yes, I am aware of the URL redirection but if that is all they are guilty of that puts them ahead of 99% of the offshore scumbags. So many of the offshore companies are owned by former bookies and feel they can fold up the tent if they start taking a hit. You, Steve Turner are reported to be a former offshore book owner. If that is true that puts you in that category.
If you owned Lonestar as reported, you ar trying to make money off people's losses. Your sports service is supposed to be trying to win money for people. If you were sending people over to Lonestar, that is a conflict of interest and it could have landed you in jail. If I'm correct that is one of the reasons Jeff Allen and the owner of Sam Sharpe and Mike Wynn out of Wisconsin are serving five years in the Federal Pen. You sound like a knowledgeable person but I don't know if you should be the one to call the kettle black.

For those playing along at home.......Lone Star was located in Curacao a few years back at the TISS compound which was suppossed to end up being the largest "community" of offshore books.

Here's a picture we snapped not long after Lone Star closed up shop:

A good idea but way too many problems......

If everyone who used ruthless marketing tactics was chastized there would be no companies left in business in any industry! No complaints is no complaints.

                      Great pictures by the way!

Let me try and clear up Lonestar first. Owner? I owned less than 10% of the stock. We were told to cease and desist by the Federal Gov't. Yes we did. All players were paid.

I adveritse for 2 sport books. Pinacle and Royal. They pay me adveriting money each month. I had one customer who won $100,000 last month at Pinacle. The off shore industry has been good for the sports service business in giving our customers places to play.

Yes, I know some of the Sports services own 100 % of sports books. In fact some of them are on the 'LIST'. If you want more info you can e-mail me.

                          Interest In Offshore Book

At least you are man enough to admit that you were a part owner of the offshore book, Lonestar. I guess you were not a target of the Fed's. If you were they wouldn't have told you to divest yourself of that interest. Everyone has done something in their lifetime that could have landed them in the pen including me.
You say you have a list of sports services that also own sportsbooks. Could you publish them or provide your e mail so we can write you to get this list of people who double dip? By the way, when I type inyour company name or the name Steve Turner, nothing comes up.
